Overview

Transact follows a transaction from offer to close while keeping multiple properties and offers connected to the same client. If a deal collapses, its offer information remains attached to that client and can be reused for another property, avoiding a restart from a blank file. That approach suits agents handling changing negotiations and brokerages that want a persistent client record rather than isolated transaction folders.

The product combines licensed, locally relevant form libraries with templates, document storage, automatic form updates, customizable to-do templates, and a visual timeline for dates, milestones, conditions, and tasks. Its broker workflow adds compliance checklists, file review, and guided checks for required documentation. Those controls make it more appropriate for supervised teams and associations than a basic document cabinet.

Key features

Transactions, forms, and tasks

Reusable templates and automatic form updates reduce repetitive preparation, while the timeline gives users a single view of deadlines and outstanding conditions. The lost-deal workflow is a practical differentiator for agents who frequently move a buyer or seller to a second property.

Collaboration and compliance

Share groups let colleagues access selected transactions with separate view or edit permissions. Brokers can impose checklists and review files through a guided process, helping standardize approval without giving every collaborator unrestricted access. The secure form library and permission controls support organizations with formal oversight requirements.

Connections and API

Transact connects with Lone Wolf Contacts or Relationships, Follow Up Boss, Authentisign, MLS data where available, and Lone Wolf Back Office. Public APIs support external integrations, but API access must be requested. API calls use short-lived OAuth 2.0 bearer tokens and a Lone Wolf subscription key, so integration work is possible but not entirely self-service.

Pricing

Lone Wolf Transact uses custom pricing. Agents can obtain it through zipForm or CREA, while teams and brokers are directed to request a demo. No subscription amount, seat allowance, transaction quota, or trial term is published, making it difficult to compare total cost before contacting Lone Wolf.

Authentisign e-signatures are not included: the e-signature service is an additional-fee add-on. Buyers should budget for that separately if signing is part of their workflow.

Platforms

Transact is offered through web and API access. Its design is mobile-first and intended to work from any device, but there is no dedicated app. MLS data connectivity depends on whether support exists for the relevant MLS. MLS and association members receive 24/7 support, and Lone Wolf provides live and recorded training.

Who it's for

Independent agents who need licensed forms, reusable client information, and deadline tracking can use Transact as a structured transaction hub, especially when access through zipForm or CREA is convenient. Teams and brokerages gain more from permissioned sharing, compliance checklists, file review, and Back Office connectivity. MLSs and associations are a particularly good fit where member support and local form requirements are priorities.

It is a weaker fit for buyers who require a native phone app, insist on published pricing, or want built-in e-signatures without another charge. Organizations outside supported MLS environments may also get less value from the qualified MLS connection.

Pros and cons

Pros

Client-linked offers: fallen-through deals retain reusable offer information for the next property.
Compliance workflow: checklists, guided reviews, and permissioned sharing support broker supervision.
Real-estate forms: licensed local forms, templates, storage, and automatic updates reduce document maintenance.
Integration surface: Lone Wolf products, Follow Up Boss, MLS connections where available, and public APIs can connect the transaction record to surrounding systems.
Training and support: live and recorded training plus 24/7 member support benefit MLS and association users.

Cons

Opaque cost: teams and brokers must request a demo, with no published price or quota to assess beforehand.
Extra signing fee: Authentisign is a separate purchase rather than an included e-signature feature.
No native app: mobile-first web access may not satisfy users who want an installed application.
Conditional MLS integration: data connectivity varies by supported MLS.
API gatekeeping: public API use still requires requesting access.

Alternatives

Real Estate Transaction Management Software is the broader directory for comparing transaction tools. Choose AFrame if a freemium product with a free plan, free trial, mobile apps, API, web access, client portal, reminders, and reporting suits you better. dotloop is preferable when you want a free tier capped at 10 transactions or a published Premium price of $34.99 per month for unlimited transactions and individual agents.

BrokerageBox fits organizations seeking a free virtual platform with transaction and commission management, dashboards, cash-flow tools, billing, and payments. Pick Brokermint when brokerage accounting, agent billing, ACH payments, multiple offices, CRM integration, and API access are the priority, although its Professional price is custom. Jointly suits agents wanting seven free deals before its $9-per-month Starter plan, or a $49-per-month Pro plan for higher-volume work.

Paperless Pipeline is a stronger choice when you need published month-to-month pricing: $69 per month covers up to five new transactions, unlimited users, and unlimited storage. Backhouse offers a $79-per-seat monthly price, 500 AI tasks per seat each month, and no feature gates for teams prioritizing AI task capacity. DocuSign eSignature is the focused alternative when sending and signing agreements is the main requirement, with a free plan and a Personal plan at $11 per month on an annual commitment.

Verdict

Lone Wolf Transact is a strong choice for real-estate teams, brokers, MLSs, and associations that need client-centered transaction history, licensed forms, structured compliance, and Lone Wolf integrations. Its main reason to choose it is the combination of reusable offer context and broker-grade workflow. Look elsewhere if transparent pricing, an included signing tool, or a native mobile app is essential.
