Overview

Creetr connects competitor-ad research to a guided production workflow: start with a product URL or viral reference, choose an AI actor and hook or supply a script, then export a vertical ad. That makes it a practical option for marketers who want to move from studying creative angles to producing variations in one place. The free tier can help with discovery, but it cannot establish whether Creetr’s video output suits your needs before you pay.

Key features

Research and writing

The competitor ad spy combines a live viral-ad feed with hook and angle breakdowns and a swipe-file library. Creetr also generates hooks and full UGC scripts, with the option to remix top performers. These tools can give a creative team more starting points; choosing an angle that fits its product and audience still takes judgment.

Actors and exports

Creetr describes a library of dozens of AI actors in multiple tones and styles. The Creator plan includes watermark-free HD 1080p exports formatted for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. That is a useful fit for teams publishing vertical video across those channels, though the credit budget—not the export format—is likely to shape how much they can produce.

Credits and support

Generated videos, actor renders and scripts use credits, which refill monthly and reset at the end of each billing cycle rather than rolling over. Users can top up or upgrade. Creetr says failed renders do not consume credits, and returns credits if a failed render did consume them. It usually responds within one business day, with same-day replies for render- or payment-blocking issues.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and is billed $0/forever. It provides unlimited access to 50 free tools, viral-library browsing and a one-time 50-credit grant, but no credits are included in the plan; video generation and AI analysis require a paid plan. It is suited to exploring the research and other free tools, not to producing ads.

Creator is 23.20 USD per month, billed $278.40 billed yearly, with a stated saving of $69.60. It includes 36,000 credits per year, or 3,000 per month, described as enough for about 20 hook videos, plus HD 1080p exports without a watermark. This is the clearest fit for an individual creator or small team making a steady volume of ads. Monthly credits reset and do not roll over, so unused capacity is lost each cycle.

Studio is 159.20 USD per month, billed $1,910.40 billed yearly, with a stated saving of $477.60. Its 300,000 credits per year, or 25,000 per month, are described as enough for about 166 hook videos; it also includes priority support. The larger allowance is for teams producing at higher volume, though it does not remove the monthly reset. Plans can be billed monthly or yearly, cancelled at any time, and remain accessible through the paid period. The pricing model states paid plans start at $29/mo, so confirm the billing term before choosing a plan.

Platforms

Creetr runs on the web, making it accessible through a browser. The workflow is built around exporting vertical ads for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

Who it's for

Creetr makes the most sense for DTC marketers, agencies and creators who need both ad-angle research and a repeatable way to turn that research into UGC-style video. It is less suitable for someone who wants to generate a sample video before subscribing, or who needs credits to remain available beyond the current billing cycle.

Pros and cons

Pros: Research, hook breakdowns, scripts and video creation sit in one workflow, reducing the need to move between separate tools when developing ad variations.
Pros: Creator exports are watermark-free HD 1080p and formatted for three major short-form video channels.
Pros: Failed renders are not meant to consume credits, and credits are returned if a failed render did consume them.
Cons: The free plan cannot generate videos, so there is no free production trial.
Cons: Credits expire at each billing-cycle reset, which makes the plans a weaker fit for irregular production schedules.

Alternatives

Browse AI UGC Video Generators if you want to compare the broader category. For a focused comparison, AI Actors has a free plan with 50 monthly credits and two actors, while its Starter plan is 19.00 USD per month and includes 400 monthly credits and five actors; it may suit a smaller actor-led workflow.

Tagshop AI has a free tier and trial, plus a Starter plan at 29.00 USD per month with 50 credits per month, up to five videos per month and 1080p export. UGCad AI offers a free tier to generate initial videos and browse actors, while its Starter plan is 14.00 USD per month; it is worth comparing if a lower stated entry price matters.

Creatify has a free plan with 10 monthly credits, up to two video ads and 20 image ads, alongside 300 AI actors, 10 premium AI models and 40 ad templates. VisionStory has a free tier with 10 sign-up credits, a 30-second maximum video length and 720p maximum resolution; consider it if those constraints fit your needs.

UGC Copilot offers a 9.00 USD one-time Starter Pack with 130 credits plus a 50-credit first-purchase bonus, bought once per account with no subscription. U-Gen offers prepaid credits from 25.00 USD once, with credits that never expire, as well as a 29.00 USD per month Creator plan. Either may be a better fit if you prefer one-time or non-expiring credits.

UnrealUGC is another option to compare.

Verdict

Creetr is a strong fit for DTC brands, agencies and creators who value ad research and script development alongside a structured path to vertical UGC-style video. Its main advantage is that research and production share one workflow; its main drawback is that video generation sits behind a paid plan and credits expire monthly. Look elsewhere if you need a free video trial or want unused credits to carry forward.
