Overview

CourseDeck connects weekly and term-based schedules with room and teacher information, public class pages, registrations and waitlists. That makes it a focused option for programs managing ongoing classes, rather than a general-purpose event or appointment tool. Its business-to-business model is aimed at educational institutions and organizations.

Each class can have a public page with its schedule, age, availability, trial and registration details. CourseDeck says pages can be shared through Google, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, email and a website, giving prospective learners several ways to reach the same class information.

Key features

Scheduling and class operations

Visual weekly and term-based scheduling, with rooms and teachers kept clear, is useful for programs coordinating recurring sessions. Room scheduling and instructor management are supported, and attendance tracking is available; Starter specifies manual attendance. These features make the product more relevant to ongoing teaching operations than a registration form alone.

Class pages and waitlists

Public pages bring class details and registration information together, while sharing across social, messaging, search and website channels helps organizations direct interest to them. CourseDeck also indicates which classes are full or nearly full and tracks waitlist interest for follow-up. That pairing can help staff see where demand is building, though waitlist tracking is not a substitute for clear capacity limits.

Pricing

CourseDeck is freemium, with a free plan and a free trial. Starter costs $0/forever and allows 25 active students, one location and one admin. It includes basic scheduling, custom terms and policies, manual attendance, automated makeups and waitlist management. The permanent free option is useful for a small operation, but the student and staff caps can constrain even a modest program as it expands.

Pro costs $39/month and includes unlimited active students, three locations and three admins, plus everything in Starter. It is the practical step up for a growing studio or program that has outgrown Starter's student cap but can operate within three locations and admins.

Business costs $79/month, with unlimited active students, ten locations and ten admins, and everything in Pro. It fits a larger multi-location organization that needs more operating capacity. Both paid plans retain location and admin limits, so organizations exceeding those ceilings should confirm fit before committing.

Platforms

CourseDeck runs on the web. Its public class pages can be shared through common social and communication channels, but the product's stated platform is web.

Who it's for

CourseDeck is built for dance, tutoring, music, fitness, art and language schools, after-class programs and learning academies. It is a sensible choice for teams that need recurring schedules, class-facing information and waitlist follow-up together. Organizations seeking broad campus administration or a platform outside the web should consider other options.

Pros and cons

Pros

Useful free starting tier: Starter includes scheduling, attendance, automated makeups and waitlist management without a recurring charge.
Public information and operations connect: Class pages combine schedule, age, availability, trial and registration details with sharing channels.
Clear scale-up path: Pro and Business remove the active-student ceiling while increasing location and admin allowances.
Documented security measures: CourseDeck cites row-level database security, TLS 1.2 or higher in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, monitoring and audit logging. Its DPA is intended to address EU GDPR Article 28, UK GDPR and CCPA/CPRA requirements.

Cons

Starter has tight caps: 25 active students, one location and one admin may force a growing program to upgrade.
Paid tiers still limit locations and admins: Pro allows three of each and Business ten, which may not suit larger or more distributed organizations.
Limited downtime remedies: CourseDeck does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and offers no service credits, refunds or SLA penalties for downtime.
US-based primary hosting: Data is primarily hosted and processed in the United States unless otherwise agreed in writing, a consideration for organizations with different data-location requirements.

Paddle is the merchant of record; CourseDeck says it does not store or process card information. Listed sub-processors include Vercel, Neon, UploadThing, Resend, PostHog, Google Analytics and Paddle.

Enrole is a paid, web-based alternative. Fedena is freemium, offers a free plan and trial, and supports Android, iOS, API, self-hosted and web deployments. ACADIS Registration Portal is a paid, web-based alternative. Cogran is paid, has no free plan, supports web and desktop and mobile platforms, and offers an annual plan for up to 500 registrations at $899.00 USD per year. Ellucian PowerCampus Financial Aid, Jenzabar Campus Marketplace and Registro Academic ERP are other paid alternatives.

Verdict

CourseDeck is best for a small or growing class-based organization that wants schedules, shareable class pages, registration and waitlist follow-up in one web workspace. Its free Starter plan provides a meaningful way to begin, and Pro removes the student cap for $39/month. Look elsewhere if uninterrupted-service commitments are essential or if your organization needs more than ten locations or admins.
