Overview

Continue To Give is a giving and operations service for churches, nonprofits, and missionaries, with a particular focus on organizations raising under $500,000 a year. It is best suited to teams that want donor administration and fund accounting alongside donation collection, rather than a standalone giving form. Its breadth is appealing, but transaction rates and a possible mobile-giving fee need to be weighed against the no-monthly-fee starting option.

Key features

Giving and donor management

Organizations can accept one-time and recurring gifts, build campaign pages, issue tax receipts, and give donors a portal. Giving channels include text, app, kiosk, QR code, Facebook, peer-to-peer, and online giving. That variety can serve donors with different habits, although each organization should compare the transaction rates for its expected volume before treating a free plan as low-cost.

The ChMS combines donor and church management with a customizable dashboard, form builder, communications, pledge management, events, reporting, small-group sign-up, child check-in, and task management. This makes the service more relevant to organizations that need routine coordination as well as gift processing. The Advanced ChMS plan is priced at $0.03 per contact, so the number of people in the database is a direct cost consideration.

Fund accounting and integrations

Fund accounting includes starting balances, fund and account management, registrar transactions, journal entries, fund transfers, bank imports, matching contributions to bank batch deposits, and accounting reports. This is a meaningful advantage for organizations that need giving records connected to fund workflows, rather than just donor-facing tools. Integrations are also included as a stated feature, with accounting or CRM integrations addressed by the product's integration help category.

Security and support

Continue To Give says transactions use 256-bit encryption and that it adheres to PCI compliance regulations. It offers one-on-one demos with solution experts and provides support by phone at 800.684.0550.

Pricing

The pricing model is freemium. The company says there is no setup fee, monthly fee, contract, or credit-card requirement to get started, and customers can cancel at any time. Those terms lower the barrier to trying the service, but they do not remove transaction charges. The mobile giving page also notes that a minimum discount fee may apply even though Continue To Give does not charge a monthly fee.

Via Sending Organization: 0.00 USD per free, with a 2.7% + $0.25 fee per transaction. This is for missionaries whose sending organization uses Continue To Give.
Individually: 0.00 USD per free, with a 3.9% + $0.45 fee per transaction. This is for individuals who do not work directly with a sending organization, or whose organization does not use Continue To Give. Its higher fee makes it less attractive than the sending-organization option when that option applies.
Gold: 29.00 USD per month, aimed at churches raising over $5,000/month. It has an approximately 2.5% + $0.25 transaction charge, plus ACH at 0.5% + $0.35 per transaction. This is the clearest published monthly-price option for churches above that fundraising threshold.
Silver: custom pricing for churches raising under $5,000/month, with a 3.2% + $0.45 transaction charge and ACH at 0.5% + $0.35 per transaction. The lower fundraising threshold does not mean lower transaction rates than Gold.
Silver Online Giving: custom pricing for U.S. and Canadian clients giving under $5,000/month, with unlimited projects or purposes and donors.
Gold Online Giving: custom pricing for U.S. and Canadian clients giving over $5,000/month, also with unlimited projects or purposes and donors.
Advanced ChMS: custom pricing at $0.03 per contact, with CRM/member management, contribution management, events and tickets, pledge management, and advanced reporting.
Fund Accounting: custom pricing, with starting balances, fund and account management, registrar transactions, journal entries, bank integrations, and advanced reporting.

The online-giving tiers keep projects and donor counts unlimited, but the available pricing does not make their total cost comparable to the published Gold monthly charge. Organizations considering the accounting or ChMS options should establish their custom cost before choosing them.

Platforms

Continue To Give supports Android, iOS, and web, giving organizations and donors mobile and browser access.

Who it's for

This is a strong fit for churches, nonprofits, and missionaries that want multiple giving channels together with donor, event, communication, and accounting workflows. The stated focus on organizations raising under $500,000 per year points to smaller and midsize fundraising operations. It is less compelling for a team seeking only simple online collection or one fixed, easily forecast monthly cost, since transaction rates and custom-priced tiers require closer budgeting.

Pros and cons

Pro: Giving, donor management, ChMS functions, and fund accounting sit in one service, which can reduce the need to split those workflows across separate tools.
Pro: Text, app, kiosk, QR-code, Facebook, peer-to-peer, and online giving offer organizations several ways to collect donations.
Pro: The stated no-setup, no-monthly-fee, no-contract starting terms and cancel-any-time policy reduce commitment for organizations evaluating it.
Con: Transaction fees vary by plan, and a minimum discount fee may apply to mobile giving, so a free starting option is not necessarily fee-free.
Con: Several plans have custom pricing, making it harder to compare total costs before speaking with the provider.
Con: Advanced ChMS charges by contact, so organizations with larger databases need to account for contact volume.

Alternatives

For a wider shortlist, browse Nonprofit Text-to-Give Software or Church Giving Software.

Donorbox is worth comparing if a team prefers a free Standard plan with five team members and platform fees of 2.95%–3.95%, plus payment processing fees.
Faith Teams may suit a church that wants to begin with a free account capped at 100 active people and activate online giving within 30 days of sign-up.
Givebutter is an alternative for organizations looking for a free-forever plan that includes donation forms, fundraising pages, events, auctions, and donor management.
Funraise is an option for organizations raising under $1 million annually that want its free plan.
Anedot is another alternative for organizations comparing donation payment methods and percentage-based charges, including a 4.0% + 30¢ Standard charge for cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and ACH/bank draft.
KindEngage is another option to consider.
OpenFundraise may suit teams seeking free use with no monthly fees, contracts, or setup cost, and a 2% fee only when a donor opts to cover fees.
Pledge is another option to consider.

Verdict

Choose Continue To Give if your church, nonprofit, or missionary operation needs donation channels, donor coordination, and fund accounting under one roof. Its main case is the breadth of those connected workflows; its main drawback is that transaction charges and custom-priced tiers make costs less predictable than the no-monthly-fee message suggests. Organizations that prioritize a simpler cost comparison or only need donation collection should compare alternatives before committing.
