Overview

Golfers can book, record rounds, keep digital scorecards, enter competitions, follow leaderboards and connect with friends. Round recording and GPS maps work on courses worldwide, extending the app’s usefulness beyond a player’s home club. An Apple Watch companion provides distances and hole-by-hole score entry, which is useful for players who want those tools on their wrist during a round.

For clubs, ReadyGolf combines tee-time booking and tee-sheet management with competition management, member records, CRM, payments, invoicing and simulator booking. Federation data comes through eBirdie, and the platform offers scoped links to finance and back-office systems. Shareholder management, guest tee-time booking, a web shop and golf-cart booking are separate modules, so clubs should account for those as additions rather than assume every workflow is included.

Key features

Golfer app

The free app covers booking, play and scoring, competitions and leaderboards. Worldwide round recording and GPS maps make it useful to golfers who play at different courses, while the watch companion adds distances and scoring without requiring the app’s phone screen during play. This is a strong player-facing offer, but it does not give golfers the club’s paid operating tools.

Club operations

The club platform addresses both routine administration and player access, with member management, CRM, bookings, payments, invoicing and competitions. Simulator booking is also available as a standalone plan. The modular approach can suit clubs that want to adopt specific workflows, but optional modules and separately billed transaction fees make it important to confirm the scope and full cost of a chosen configuration.

Pricing

The ReadyGolf golfer app costs 0.00 EUR per free. It includes booking, play and scoring, competitions and leaderboards; clubs set prices for their own products and services. It is the straightforward choice for golfers, while club operations require a paid plan.

Simulator booking costs 49.00 EUR per month on a 12-month agreement, billed monthly, exclusive of VAT. It includes simulator availability and slots, player bookings from the app, and the ReadyGolf app for members and guests. This is the focused option for clubs that need simulator scheduling rather than a broader management system.

Competition management costs 99.00 EUR per month on a 12-month agreement, billed monthly, exclusive of VAT. It adds registrations and start lists, score entry and live leaderboards, ranking series and recurring competitions, alongside the app for members and guests. Clubs whose priority is running competitions can choose it without moving directly to the full management system.

The golf club management system starts at 199.00 EUR per month, on a 12-month agreement and billed monthly. Its price scales with club size, member count, number of holes and selected modules; competition management, simulator booking, member management, CRM and tee-time booking are included. Usage-based fees for payments and invoices are billed separately. All prices exclude VAT, and onboarding, data migration and integrations are quoted and itemised separately. Clubs should compare the resulting full cost and module scope, not just the starting monthly fee.

Platforms

ReadyGolf supports Android, iOS and web. Its Apple Watch companion adds a wrist-based option for distances and score entry.

Who it's for

Golfers get a free app for booking, scoring and competition participation, with worldwide round recording and GPS maps for play across courses. Clubs can use the operational platform across workflows aimed at golfers, caddiemasters, administrators and club leaders. The paid plans make most sense for clubs that want one or more of the listed booking, competition, simulator or member-management functions; the 12-month term and additional fees are less suited to clubs seeking a short commitment or a predictable all-in monthly cost.

Pros and cons

Pros: The free golfer app brings booking, scoring, competitions and leaderboards together without a subscription charge.
Pros: Worldwide round recording, GPS maps and an Apple Watch companion extend the player tools beyond basic club booking.
Pros: Clubs can choose a focused simulator or competition plan, or start with a broader management system.
Cons: Club agreements run for 12 months, even though fees are billed monthly.
Cons: VAT, transaction-based payment and invoice fees, and separately quoted implementation work add costs beyond plan prices.
Cons: Shareholder management, guest tee-time booking, web shop and golf-cart booking are separate modules.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison of booking tools, see Golf Tee Time Booking Software. Choose Caddyio instead if its free plan, available on Android, iOS, web and API, better fits your needs. Supreme Golf for Courses is worth considering for its free basic course listing and tee-time distribution, with a 2.9% processing fee on prepaid marketplace bookings and a free trial.

For a paid club-management option with public pricing available on request, consider Club Caddie. BRS Golf offers a Core plan with pricing available by contacting sales for a demo. TeeTime Manager uses tailored proposals based on territory, exclusivity and scope. Club Systems Tee Time Management, GolfTap and ITG.golf are other paid alternatives.

Verdict

ReadyGolf is a good fit for golfers seeking free booking and scoring tools, and for clubs that want a modular route into tee-time, competition, simulator and member workflows. Its main advantage is the combination of player features and club operations; its main drawback for clubs is the 12-month commitment plus VAT, usage fees and separately quoted setup work. Choose it when that breadth matches your club’s needs, and look elsewhere if a short-term or all-in priced arrangement matters more.
