Overview

The service brings I-9 administration for on-site and remote users into one account, with secure information sharing for document retrieval, field updates and reverification tracking. That centralized approach is useful when responsibility spans locations or work arrangements; it gives employers a shared process rather than separate location-based tracking.

Guided forms provide tips, error checks, electronic validations and signature links, and can be completed while an employee awaits an SSN. Automatic checks flag missing information or potential compliance issues in Sections 1 and 2. These controls can catch omissions early, though they do not remove the employer’s responsibility to address issues and manage compliance.

Key features

Tracking and reporting: Reverification notifications, receipt management, audit and compliance reports, email notifications and a task dashboard help teams monitor work and maintain an audit trail.
Virtual Section 2: Trained Experian experts can complete Section 2 through a government-approved process, a useful option for employers managing remote employees.
Workday and E-Verify: Experian identifies the service as a Workday Certified Integration and says it integrates with E-Verify. Workday automation can create employee accounts, assign Section 1, sync employee updates, process terminations and rehirings, and populate Section 2 business details. This breadth may reduce repeated data entry for Workday employers; organizations using another HR system should weigh how much of that integration benefit applies to them.
Security and assistance: Experian describes the cloud-based tracker as fully encrypted, with storage security routines based on AWS S3. A specialized I-9 team provides training, education and help managing FAN.

Pricing

I-9 Management: custom pricing by quote; request a demo. E-Verify, remote I-9 workflow, electronic signatures and an audit trail are included. Employers should request a quote to judge cost against their workforce and workflow needs; there is no published tier structure to compare. This is a poor fit for buyers who need a clear price before engaging a vendor.

Platforms

Experian lists web, Android and iOS support, matching a service aimed at employers with office-based, remote or mobile workforces.

Who it's for

This is a strong candidate for employers that need centralized I-9 administration across multiple locations, use Workday, or need a virtual Section 2 process for remote employees. Smaller employers seeking a self-serve, transparently priced product may prefer to look elsewhere, since the service is sold by quote and centers on employer compliance workflows.

Pros and cons

Pro: Guided forms, automatic checks and electronic signatures support a more consistent process and can surface omissions in both form sections.
Pro: Workday automation covers account creation, employee changes, terminations and rehirings, and Section 2 business details.
Pro: Virtual Section 2 completion and mobile support address workflows for remote and mobile employees.
Con: Custom pricing requires a demo request to assess affordability, which makes early budget comparisons harder.
Con: The clearest automation advantage is tied to Workday; employers on other systems may find less value in that part of the offer.

Alternatives

Browse HR Compliance Software or Employment Eligibility Verification Software to compare options by category. Consider Affirmity Employment Law Navigator if you want a web-based, paid alternative with pricing by request. BLR HR Hero is another paid web option, with a free trial; its subscription terms should be checked for user and use limits. ComplianceHR offers paid web and API access, with per-use pricing for Navigator IC/OT and user-based pricing for its reference, document and policy centers.

Emtrain may suit buyers comparing compliance training plans: its Basic plan is 50.00 USD per year, billed per learner/year, with a 100-user minimum, while Standard is 60.00 USD per year. SecuraHR offers web-based employee handbook and HR compliance plans. Traliant offers a Plus plan starting at 3.99 USD per learner annually, with HRIS integrations, analytics, legal support, a course customizer, classroom mode and API access. AirMason has a Startup plan at 149.00 USD per month for 1 to 99 employees, with digital handbooks and automated policy updates. GovDocs is another paid, web-based alternative.

Verdict

Choose Experian I-9 Management if your organization needs centralized I-9 and E-Verify administration, particularly across remote teams or within a Workday environment. Its combination of form checks, tracking, virtual Section 2 and Workday automation is the main reason to shortlist it. Look elsewhere if you need transparent pricing or do not expect to use its Workday-linked automation.
