Overview

Teleskope Affinities is a platform for coordinating employee resource groups across an organization. It is best suited to enterprise HR teams managing programs across countries or regions; its broad administrative scope is compelling, but custom pricing means buyers need a demo to assess cost and fit.

Employees can find ERGs, chapters and interest groups and join with one click. That puts discovery alongside administration rather than leaving employees to navigate a separate directory.

Key features

Membership and governance

Automated membership tracking, multi-stage approval workflows, role-based permissions and configurable governance rules give administrators control over participation and decision-making across groups. This is useful when many ERGs need consistent oversight, though smaller programs may not need this level of administration.

Budgets, analytics and listening

Admins can allocate funds globally, regionally or by chapter, track spending and report expenses across ERGs. Custom dashboards cover membership growth, event attendance and engagement; HRIS integration can connect participation with talent outcomes. The budget controls and reporting suit programs that need visibility across multiple groups, while talent-outcome analysis depends on HRIS integration. The platform also includes DEI metrics dashboards, employee listening, anonymous feedback and employee journeys.

Communications and AI

Email, Slack and Microsoft Teams notifications support program communications. Ask Skope can draw insights from ERG data and draft reports, communications and event plans. Those functions may help administrators turn program activity into updates and plans, while the drafts still require review before use.

Frontline access and security

Branded iOS and Android apps let employees without corporate email join ERGs and RSVP to events, extending access beyond employees who use company email. Teleskope says the platform is SOC 2 certified, supports role-scoped access and enterprise single sign-on, and manages encryption through AWS Key Management Service. These controls align with enterprise needs, though organizations should confirm their own security and governance requirements during evaluation.

Pricing

Affinities is paid, with custom pricing available by booking a demo. There is no free plan, so teams cannot assess it through a free tier; buyers should include the sales process in their evaluation timeline. The enterprise ERG management plan is the product offering, but its price is not published.

Platforms

Affinities is available on web, Android and iOS. The mobile apps are particularly relevant for frontline employees who lack corporate email access.

Who it's for

Affinities is aimed at enterprise HR teams, including large organizations managing ERGs across countries and regions. It is a stronger fit where centralized governance, chapter-level budgeting and engagement reporting matter together. Smaller teams or buyers who prioritize self-serve purchasing and a free starting point should consider other options.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad ERG administration: Membership tracking, approvals, permissions and governance rules address the coordination burden of running many groups.
Budget controls at multiple levels: Global, regional and chapter allocation plus expense reporting helps administrators track program spend.
Access for frontline employees: Branded mobile apps allow joining and event RSVPs without corporate email.
Program insights and drafts: Ask Skope can use ERG data to generate insights and draft common program materials.

Cons

No free plan or published price: Buyers must book a demo to learn the cost and cannot start with a free tier.
Enterprise orientation: The platform is designed for large, distributed programs, which may be more administration than a small ERG initiative requires.
Some analytics depend on HRIS integration: Connecting participation to talent outcomes requires that integration.
