Overview

Bridgit is workforce planning software built for construction contractors, including general and specialty firms. It suits teams that need to align people and skills with project schedules and a changing pipeline. Its construction focus and multi-year forecasting are useful strengths, but buyers should weigh the one-way integration flow and custom pricing.

Key features

Bridgit brings projects, roles and people into a staffing view, helping planners connect workforce decisions to project requirements. Profiles capture job history, skills, certifications, location and availability, giving teams practical context when considering assignments or hiring needs.

Scenario modeling, headcount forecasting and org chart planning support a multi-year horizon. The ability to model workforce needs against the project pipeline can help contractors spot staffing gaps before they become immediate project pressures. It is a focused planning tool rather than a general-purpose workforce directory.

Assignment alerts can go by SMS or email; teams can also share project announcements and add notes to people’s profiles. These communication tools help keep staffing changes visible, though the core value remains planning against project demand.

Prebuilt connectors cover construction, CRM, HRIS and data systems, including Autodesk Build, Procore, Salesforce, Workday and Snowflake. Integrations pull data into Bridgit from source systems but do not push changes back. That one-way flow matters for teams expecting staffing updates in Bridgit to update their other systems automatically. An open API provides a route to build connections to projects, people, assignments and forecast data.

Bridgit says it is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and supports SSO through Microsoft OAuth, Google OAuth and SAML. It states that it has no other security compliance or certifications at this time, a relevant constraint for organizations with additional compliance requirements.

Pricing

Bridgit Bench is paid software with custom pricing; buyers need to talk to an expert for a quote. There is no published price or free plan to use as a low-commitment starting point, so teams should confirm the price and commercial terms before comparing budgets. Bridgit’s team guides customers through integration setup and configuration, and directs integration choices to a Customer Success Manager or Account Executive.

Platforms

Bridgit lists web, iOS, Android and API support. Its Bridgit Bench mobile apps are available for iOS and Android, while the API can support custom connections to planning data.

Who it's for

Bridgit is best suited to general and specialty construction contractors that plan staffing across projects and need to forecast workforce demand over multiple years. Contractors whose systems need bidirectional integration, or buyers requiring security certifications beyond SOC 2 Type 2, should assess those constraints before choosing it.

Pros and cons

Pros: Project, role and people views connect staffing decisions to contractor project needs.
Pros: Scenario modeling and multi-year headcount forecasting help teams identify future staffing gaps.
Pros: Prebuilt connectors, an open API and guided integration setup offer several ways to connect planning data.
Cons: Integrations only pull data into Bridgit, so changes do not flow back to source systems.
Cons: Custom pricing makes it harder to judge cost before speaking with the vendor.
Cons: Bridgit states it has no security compliance or certifications beyond SOC 2 Type 2.

Verdict

Construction contractors planning assignments and hiring against a multi-year project pipeline should put Bridgit on their shortlist: its project-centered views, workforce profiles and forecasting address that job directly. Look elsewhere if you need integrations that write changes back to source systems, broader stated security certifications or a price you can assess without requesting a quote.
