Overview

PIXID VMS is a vendor management system for coordinating temporary and extended workforces among companies, staffing agencies, and MSPs. Core is the focused option for shared staffing transactions; Pro is the stronger fit for broader contingent-workforce programs that include staff augmentation and services procurement. Its appeal is the range of connected workflows, but buyers must be comfortable assessing a custom-priced product through a demo.

Pixid was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Courbevoie, France. The maker now calls VectorVMS Pixid VMS Pro, alongside Pixid VMS Core.

Key features

Workflows for Core and Pro

Core brings companies and staffing agencies together to manage orders, timesheets, and invoices. Process automation, compliance tracking, structured talent pools, AI-assisted matching, and shared live program metrics extend that basic transaction flow. This is a sensible fit when the priority is coordinating routine temporary-worker activity between companies and their agencies, rather than managing a wider set of workforce services.

Pro handles requisitions, contracts, timesheets, and supplier invoices in one system of record. Its coverage includes staff augmentation, services procurement, and extended workforce management. AI-assisted candidate matching, interactive dashboards, real-time reporting, and customizable analytics give program managers more ways to follow activity across locations and agencies. Teams with only straightforward order and timekeeping needs may find that broader scope unnecessary.

Integration and oversight

Pro connects with HR platforms, procurement tools, and payroll systems, with records synchronized automatically. Pixid also describes an open API for connecting to existing ATS or back-office systems and API integration with HR solutions. That makes the product relevant to organizations trying to fit workforce administration into an existing technology stack, though buyers should confirm that their particular systems are covered.

Security and accessibility credentials are a notable part of the offer: Pixid cites ISO 27001 and 27701, SOC 1 and SOC 2, encryption in transit and at rest, WCAG 2.1 AA, and Section 508 compliance. The security page also states SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, while Core says customer data is hosted in the US on dedicated, certified infrastructure. Pixid’s Trust Center provides GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and SOC 2 Type 2 materials by request. These provisions matter to organizations with formal security, privacy, or accessibility requirements.

Pixid describes a dedicated project team, account-aware human support, and ongoing platform reconfiguration as programs grow. Core gives an average deployment time of three weeks, and the companies page says programs can be running in a few weeks. That points to a guided rollout rather than a self-serve purchase, with implementation support especially relevant for multi-party workflows.

Pricing

Pixid VMS is paid, and both plans use custom pricing obtained by requesting a demo. No seat count, usage quota, trial, or renewal term is stated, so buyers should establish those commercial terms during the sales process.

Pixid VMS Core: Custom pricing. Best suited to companies and staffing agencies that need a shared place for orders, timesheets, and invoices, along with automation, compliance tracking, matching, and live metrics.
Pixid VMS Pro: Custom pricing. Better suited to companies and MSPs managing programs across locations and agencies, especially when staff augmentation, services procurement, supplier contracts, reporting, and analytics are part of the remit.

Core is the narrower choice, not a published low-cost tier: the plan pages direct prospective customers to a demo rather than stating prices or purchase limits. Pro’s broader program coverage and analytics are useful only if the organization will use them; smaller programs focused on basic staffing transactions may prefer Core’s scope.

Platforms

PIXID VMS is listed for web, Android, iOS, and API access. Mobile app support and API access are included in the product’s stated capabilities, making it relevant to organizations that need both mobile access and system integration.

Who it's for

Core is aimed at companies managing temporary workers and staffing agencies placing them. Pro is positioned for companies and MSPs running contingent-workforce programs across multiple locations and agencies. Organizations with formal security or accessibility standards may also find its stated certifications and compliance commitments relevant. It is less compelling for a buyer seeking transparent self-serve pricing or a narrow tool for a single workforce task.

Pros and cons

Pros: Core combines orders, timesheets, invoices, compliance tracking, and shared program metrics for companies and agencies in one workflow.
Pros: Pro extends coverage to staff augmentation and services procurement, with dashboards, real-time reporting, and customizable analytics for larger programs.
Pros: HR, procurement, payroll, ATS, and back-office integration options can reduce the need to isolate workforce records from adjacent systems.
Pros: Stated security, privacy, US hosting, and accessibility provisions address concerns that can be central to enterprise and public-sector purchasing.
Cons: Custom pricing for both plans requires a demo before buyers can compare costs or judge fit against budget.
Cons: The distinction between the two offerings means buyers must match their program scope to the right plan; organizations with only basic staffing coordination may not benefit from Pro’s additional breadth.

Verdict

Choose PIXID VMS if your company, staffing agencies, or MSP need a connected system for temporary and extended workforce workflows, with Core for core transactions and Pro for a broader program. Its strongest case is the combination of cross-party process coverage, integration options, and stated security and accessibility provisions. Look elsewhere if upfront pricing is essential or if your requirements stop at a narrower, simpler task.
