Overview

Brandlyre builds a structured brand profile from a website, covering voice, audience, objectives, tone and visual identity. That profile informs AI-generated drafts, while a calendar and approval queue bring planning and publishing into the same workspace. Users can manage unlimited brands, each with its own calendar, media library, profile and connected accounts—a practical advantage for agencies or teams handling several identities.

That breadth does not extend to every social format. Instagram feed posts, carousels and Stories are supported, as are TikTok photo posts, but video and Reels are not. The review queue supports batch approval, editing and deletion, yet separate reviewer accounts have not shipped, limiting its usefulness where reviewers need distinct logins.

Key features

Brand-informed creation

Brandlyre generates captions, hooks, threads, LinkedIn articles, images and content plans. Brand voice controls and platform variations support adapting a message for different channels rather than relying on one unchanged draft. Google Gemini is the default for copy and image generation, with OpenAI available as an opt-in fallback. Brandlyre says it does not train models on customer content.

Publishing and review

Official OAuth connections cover Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn profiles and Pages, TikTok, Threads and X. Posts can be queued for batch approval, edited or deleted before publication. This gives a team a checkpoint without requiring it to coordinate reviews outside the planner, though the lack of separate reviewer accounts is a real limitation for multi-user approval workflows.

Assistant connections and data handling

Brandlyre connects to Claude and ChatGPT as a custom connector. Drafts from those assistants enter the approval queue; the assistant cannot publish independently, keeping the final publishing step inside Brandlyre’s workflow. Its privacy policy says data is sent over TLS, sensitive tokens are encrypted at rest, and access controls and regular security reviews are used. Application servers and the primary database are hosted in Germany, while some subprocessors may process data outside the EEA.

Pricing

Early access costs 0.00 EUR per free, billed Free while in early access. It includes 100 starting AI credits, unlimited brand workspaces, unlimited scheduled and published posts, and all publishing platforms. AI actions consume credits, but publishing does not, so the post allowance is generous while the amount of AI drafting and generation depends on the credit balance.

There is no free trial because the early-access plan is free. Paid plans are planned after early access, so this offer does not establish what continued paid use will cost. The pricing page invites users to contact the team.

Platforms

Brandlyre is available on the web. Its social connections span Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn profiles and Pages, TikTok, Threads and X. Supported formats include Instagram feed posts, carousels and Stories, plus TikTok photo posts; video and Reels are unsupported. AI image generation is available, but short-form video is not.

Who it's for

Brandlyre is a strong match for brands or teams that need to manage multiple social identities, shape drafts around a defined brand profile and schedule supported post formats from one web workspace. The free early-access plan also makes it possible to use unlimited workspaces and schedule or publish without a post cap, while keeping track of AI credits.

It is a weaker fit for video-first publishers and teams whose approval process depends on reviewers having their own accounts. Its operator and data controller is Andreality S.L. in Valencia, Spain; the primary application servers and database are in Germany, with some subprocessors potentially handling data outside the EEA.

Pros and cons

Pros

Unlimited brand workspaces: each brand has its own calendar, media library, profile and connected accounts, supporting users with several identities.
Broad social coverage: connections include Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads and X, with platform variations for generated content.
No scheduled-post cap in early access: unlimited scheduled and published posts are included, and publishing does not use AI credits.
Approval before publishing: drafts can enter a queue for batch approval, editing or deletion, and connected AI assistants cannot publish independently.

Cons

No video or Reels: Instagram Reels and video posts are unsupported, as are new video posts generally, making it unsuitable for video-led calendars.
No separate reviewer accounts yet: teams needing distinct reviewer logins cannot rely on the current approval workflow for that requirement.
AI use is credit-limited: the early-access plan starts with 100 credits and AI actions consume them, even though publishing is unlimited.
Future paid pricing is unsettled: the free terms apply during early access, with paid plans planned afterward.

Alternatives

For a broader set of options, browse AI Social Media Post Generators. Choose Content Drifter if you want a freemium service spanning Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web and Windows, with a free allowance of 8 AI posts, 10 publishes and 8 AI images per month. PostMimic is another option if you want mobile and desktop apps as well as web access; its free plan provides five one-time cloud AI posts, one profile, four platforms, basic analytics and a read-only web portal.

1INAI may suit users looking for AI media tools on web and API, with a free offer that includes a three-day trial, one free video, three watermarked images per day, 720p resolution, five minutes of audio per month and a standard queue. Consider lumad.ai for a web-based freemium alternative with a free tier and no credit card required. Noryn offers a different free starting point: three generations per month, up to four platforms per generation, text, URL and YouTube inputs, and copy-and-paste output.

Postology is a web-based freemium alternative whose free plan includes one project, 10 AI posts per month and two evergreen content tracks. SocialCTL offers a web and API workspace with 150 free credits at signup and a six-day full trial; after the trial and welcome credits, AI generation requires a paid plan. For a narrower need, TryMyPost YouTube Thumbnail Generator provides a free monthly allowance of 20 AI credits, around two standard image generations, 50 MB of storage, four saved items and two active share links.

Verdict

Choose Brandlyre if you manage several brands and want website-based brand profiles, AI-assisted drafting, an approval queue and uncapped scheduling for supported formats in one web planner. Its free early-access offer is especially useful when publishing volume matters more than a guaranteed volume of AI generation. Look elsewhere if video and Reels or separate reviewer accounts are central to your workflow, or if you need to know the post-early-access price before committing.
