Overview

Boddle’s learning roadmap adjusts content based on a learner’s performance, so students need not all follow the same sequence. Teachers can assign standards-aligned skills and check mastery by student, skill, and standard. That combination makes Boddle more useful for guided classroom practice than a game that offers activities without a teacher view of progress.

Google Classroom and Clever integrations support single sign-on and roster syncing, which can simplify classroom access. For students, text-to-speech, question explanations, a scratchpad, and placement testing provide useful supports around the practice itself. Boddle says it complies with COPPA, FERPA, and SOPPA and holds KidSafeSeal certification; it also says there is no player-to-player chat and users cannot share personal information.

Key features

Adaptive learning: The roadmap responds to performance, giving learners a changing path through practice rather than a fixed sequence.
Three elementary subjects: Math, English language arts, and science make the platform relevant beyond math-only practice, though its stated age range is K–6.
Teacher reporting: Standards-aligned assignments and mastery views across students, skills, and standards help educators connect game activity to classroom progress.
Large practice library: The Premium page describes more than 2,000 skills and 48,500 questions, rationales, and explainer videos. This is substantial breadth for recurring practice; Basic also includes 35,000+ questions.
Student supports and classroom setup: Text-to-speech, explanations, a scratchpad, placement testing, Google Classroom, and Clever address access, practice, and roster management in one service.

Pricing

Boddle is freemium. Its full learning platform is free for every teacher and school, with Premium offered as an optional add-on. That makes the free access compelling for classroom use, while families seeking Premium game perks or a parent portal will need a paid plan.

Basic — 0.00 USD per free: Includes all learning content, many in-game features, and 35,000+ student questions. It is the clearest choice for schools and families prioritizing learning content without a subscription; Premium game perks, a parent portal, and monthly Boddle Bucks are not included.
Yearly Premium — 4.08 USD per year (billed $48.99 billed yearly): Includes Premium game perks, a parent portal, and 1,200 Boddle Bucks monthly. The annual commitment suits families who want those extras at the lower stated monthly equivalent.
Monthly Premium — 9.99 USD per month (billed $9.99 billed monthly): Includes the same Premium perks, portal, and monthly Boddle Bucks without an annual billing commitment, at a higher monthly price.

The paid-from rate is 4.08 /user/mo on an annual basis. No seat cap or trial term is stated for Boddle’s plans.

Platforms

Boddle runs in web browsers on Chromebooks and laptops, and has Android 9+ and iOS 12+ apps. Browser access is useful for schools using Chromebooks, while mobile apps give families another way to reach the same learning game.

Who it's for

Boddle is a good fit for K–6 teachers who want standards-aligned assignments and mastery reporting alongside student practice, and for families or homeschoolers looking for elementary content across three subjects. It is less suited to learners outside the elementary range or buyers looking specifically for a single-subject tool.

Pros and cons

Pro: Free full-platform access for teachers and schools lowers the barrier to classroom adoption.
Pro: Adaptive content and reporting by student, skill, and standard link practice with progress review.
Pro: Google Classroom and Clever roster syncing support established classroom workflows.
Pro: Text-to-speech, explanations, scratchpad, and placement testing offer several forms of student support.
Con: Premium game perks and the parent portal require a paid plan, so families wanting those features must budget for a subscription.
Con: The product is framed for K–6, limiting its fit for older students or learners seeking content beyond elementary subjects.
