Overview

The portal combines board administration with work between meetings: members can manage records, assign tasks and discuss proposals alongside meeting preparation. Member profiles, committee assignments and board activity reports add administrative structure. That makes it a credible fit for groups trying to bring recurring board work into one service, though its fixed member limits will matter as a board grows.

The vendor says data transfers are encrypted and cites 256-bit AES and TLS 1.2. Servers run in Microsoft Azure availability zones in Virginia. Support channels include a request form, FAQ, knowledge base, email and phone.

Key features

Meetings and records

The calendar covers events, agendas, attendee notifications, RSVPs, attendance records and archived events. Board book building and minutes management are also included. Together, these tools support preparation, participation tracking and record keeping through the meeting cycle, rather than just scheduling dates.

Documents, tasks and discussion

Members can arrange documents in folders, control access, upload by drag and drop and tag files. Task lists support due dates, assignments, reminders, attachments and comments, giving committees a way to track follow-up work. Topic threads cover announcements, proposals and ideas; comments arrive by email, and members can reply from email. These features make the portal useful for ongoing coordination, although the storage allotment on paid plans is modestly tiered rather than unlimited.

Members and committees

Member profiles, a directory, committee assignments and reports on board activity help administrators keep track of who is involved and what work is underway. Secure messaging is included, rounding out the collaboration tools.

Pricing

The freemium model gives very small boards a way to start without a subscription, while paid plans trade higher member caps for set storage and email support. The listed paid prices are monthly; each paid plan also offers two months free with yearly billing.

Plan	Price	Included limits and support
Lifetime free account	0.00 USD per free	Up to 3 members
Advisory	49.00 USD per month	5 members, 5 GB storage, email support
Small	99.00 USD per month	10 members, 10 GB storage, email support
Medium	199.00 USD per month	20 members, 20 GB storage, email support

The free account is a narrow fit for a board of three or fewer. Advisory raises the cap to five and adds 5 GB, but still leaves little room for a larger group. Small and Medium double both the member and storage limits at each step, making them more practical for expanding boards, though even Medium stops at 20 members. A 30-day trial offers a chance to evaluate the service before choosing a paid plan.

Platforms

Board Management runs in a modern browser and works on Macs and PCs. The platform listing includes macOS, web and Windows, but there are no mobile apps; members needing a native mobile client should consider that limitation. The vendor does not offer customer-server hosting and has no plans for a self-hosted or desktop version.

Who it's for

The vendor positions the product for boards and groups across nonprofits, education, clubs and chapters, government, and businesses. Its meeting records, committee assignments and discussion tools suit organizations that want shared board workflows, especially if their membership fits within the 20-member top listed plan. It is a weaker fit for larger boards, organizations requiring self-hosting, or teams that depend on mobile apps.

Pros and cons

Pros: Meeting coordination extends through agendas, RSVPs, attendance and archived events, supporting more than calendar scheduling alone.
Pros: Documents, tasks, discussions, committees and activity reporting sit in one portal, supporting work between meetings as well as meeting preparation.
Pros: A lifetime free account covers up to three members, giving the smallest boards a no-subscription starting point.
Cons: Paid plans cap membership at 5, 10 or 20 and storage at 5, 10 or 20 GB, so growing boards may outgrow the listed tiers.
Cons: Browser access is the only client model: there are no mobile apps, desktop version or customer-server hosting.
