Overview

Comaly brings orders, reservations, reviews, and visit history into one guest list, with segmentation to help operators decide whom to contact. That context can make outreach more relevant than a basic contact database. The trade-off is a focused marketing tool, not a general-purpose restaurant management platform.

Key features

Users can create personalized, on-brand emails and texts, then preview them before sending. Campaigns can be checked for message, audience, and timing before approval, after which they run automatically. That combination gives operators a chance to catch mistakes while automating recurring outreach such as birthday messages, lapsed-guest follow-ups, and invitations intended to fill slow nights.

Comaly monitors Google, Yelp, Resy, and OpenTable reviews and can alert a manager when a regular leaves a low rating. This gives a team a prompt to pay attention to feedback from a known guest. Campaign reporting connects reservations and orders to outreach, and Comaly says it uses results to tune future campaigns; that link is useful for operators who want to relate marketing to guest activity.

Integrations listed include Toast, Square, Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms, Olo, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Twilio, Stripe, Shopify, and Google Reviews. Comaly says Toast or Square can be connected in five minutes and that setup takes under an hour. These integrations and the stated setup time make it a plausible fit for restaurants already using those systems, though the product’s focus remains guest marketing.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and covers the first 5,000 guests, with no credit card required. It includes capacity for 5,000 profiles, visit history, guest segmentation, email and SMS, and POS integration. That is a substantial starting allowance for a restaurant organizing guest outreach, but restaurants with more than 5,000 profiles will need another option; no paid Comaly plan is described.

Platforms

Comaly is available on the web. Its web-only availability suits operators who can work in a browser, but is less suitable for teams seeking a dedicated mobile app.

Who it's for

Comaly is aimed at restaurants and restaurant operators who want to build repeat visits using guest profiles, targeted email and SMS, review alerts, and campaign reporting. It is a stronger match for that job than for businesses seeking software centered on broader operational management.

Pros and cons

Pros: A free plan includes email and SMS, segmentation, visit history, POS integration, and up to 5,000 profiles without a credit card, giving restaurants room to begin without an upfront subscription.
Pros: Campaign review before automatic execution combines operator oversight with recurring outreach.
Pros: Review monitoring and campaign reporting connect reputation and guest response to marketing work.
Cons: The 5,000-profile cap may constrain larger or growing guest lists.
Cons: Web is the only platform listed, so teams wanting a dedicated mobile app should look elsewhere.
Cons: Its restaurant guest-marketing focus is not a substitute for a broad restaurant operations suite.

Verdict

Choose Comaly if your restaurant wants to organize guest activity and turn it into reviewed, automated email and SMS campaigns, with review monitoring alongside. Its free 5,000-profile plan makes it an approachable starting point. Look elsewhere if you need more profile capacity, a mobile app, or a broader restaurant-management system.
