Overview

Voicent automates voice, email and text outreach, and its cloud plans add call-center features. The hosted service runs in a browser and can be accessed from phones and tablets. Cloud calling covers the USA and Canada; on-premise software supports local phone and text services worldwide, but requires a Windows server.

Cloud users can import unlimited contacts without extra fees, a useful distinction for large lists. Call charges run from pickup to hang-up, with a 30-second minimum and six-second increments after that, so even brief calls incur at least the minimum billing interval. Voicent says it does not sell personal information and encrypts registration information stored on password-restricted servers.

Key features

Cloud plans include campaigns, predictive dialing and an agent dashboard. Other supported modes are progressive, preview, click-to-call and alternate-phone dialing; call recording and voicemail drop add options for outbound workflows. The listed capacity is one agent and two parallel calls, which may be restrictive for teams expecting several agents to work concurrently.

CRM connections include Voicent CRM, Salesforce, SugarCRM, Zoho CRM and MySQL. Developer interfaces range from simple and application interfaces to GUI, advanced gateway, CRM and campaign interfaces, giving organizations several integration routes. Standard support operates 8am-5pm Monday-Friday PST, excluding Voicent holidays or closures; on-premise customers receive support for the latest release and the three preceding versions.

Pricing

Voicent presents a free option, a 30-day trial and paid plans, but the displayed starting price of $19/mo does not match the prices of the named plans below. Check the applicable quote and billing terms before budgeting.

Plan	Price and allowance	Best fit
Free	0.00 USD per free; 100 minutes/texts	Small-scale use or an initial evaluation; the 100-unit allowance limits sustained outreach.
Starter	179.00 USD per month, billed monthly; 6,500 minutes/texts per month	Campaign teams needing unlimited campaigns and contacts, auto and predictive dialers, CRM and reports.
Premium	549.00 USD per month, billed monthly; 25,000 minutes/texts per month	Higher-volume operations needing multiple locations, role-based access, an agent dashboard and IVR integration.
Pay as you Go	19198.00 USD per month, billed monthly or yearly; credit bundles	Organizations prioritizing credits that never expire; the stated package includes five lines/agent, free 30 days, one agent and two lines.
Enterprise	22222.00 USD per month, billed monthly; 1 Million minutes/texts per month	Large deployments requiring a dedicated server, skills-based ACD routing, unlimited phone lines and a powerful API.

Starter and Premium are monthly commitments with defined usage quotas; higher volume and administration features arrive at the more expensive tiers. The Pay as you Go description combines credit bundles that never expire with a monthly or yearly billing term, so confirm how that term applies before choosing it. The 30-second minimum and subsequent six-second increments also affect cloud call costs beyond plan allowances.

Platforms

The service spans web, API and self-hosted options, with Windows required for the on-premise server. Browser access from mobile devices makes the cloud option more flexible operationally, while its USA and Canada calling coverage is narrower than the worldwide local phone and text support described for on-premise use.

Who it's for

Voicent suits organizations coordinating automated campaigns across voice, email and text, particularly those that need predictive dialing, contact imports without extra fees, and CRM connectivity. It is less suitable for teams that need cloud calling outside the USA and Canada, need a non-Windows on-premise server, or require more than the listed one-agent, two-call capacity without moving to a suitable plan.

Pros and cons

Pros: Unlimited cloud contact imports without extra fees help maintain large outreach lists.
Pros: Multiple dialing modes, recording, voicemail drop and CRM interfaces support varied campaign workflows.
Pros: Cloud and worldwide on-premise options accommodate different deployment and geographic needs.
Cons: Cloud calling is limited to the USA and Canada, while worldwide local service requires Windows-based on-premise software.
Cons: The 30-second call minimum can weigh against short-call campaigns, and the listed capacity of one agent and two parallel calls is modest.
Cons: The stated $19/mo starting price sits apart from named paid plans priced from 179.00 USD per month, making plan selection and budgeting less straightforward.

Alternatives

For a free, self-hosted option across Linux, macOS and Windows, consider FreeSWITCH; its open-source plan is free to download, modify and run in production, with community support. Choose Telnyx Text-to-Speech API instead when an API and web service with pay-as-you-go usage, automatic tier discounts and no contract better match the need. Twilio Studio is an alternative for web or API flow building, with 1,000 flow executions per month free. Asterisk is another free, open-source choice for Linux or self-hosted deployments. Consider Telnyx TeXML for pay-as-you-go TeXML calls with SIP trunking and no contract. Plum DEV, Plum Fuse and Zappix Visual IVR are paid alternatives to compare for their respective API and web offerings. Verdict

Choose Voicent if your organization needs automated multi-channel campaigns with dialing, CRM connections and a cloud or on-premise deployment path. Its unlimited contact imports and broad dialing toolkit are compelling for campaign operations, but regional cloud coverage, Windows dependence on-premise and call billing increments can make another setup a better fit.
