Overview

Apport Enrich starts with product titles, fetches information such as specifications and features for branded products, and uses AI to transform selected listings. Merchants can review the results before publishing, keeping an approval step between generated content and the live catalog.

Because it works inside Shopify admin, the workflow does not require merchants to switch tools to enrich products. The product is built for bulk work, with the site describing processing hundreds or thousands of products at once; in practice, the plan’s monthly allowance and per-run cap determine how much of that scale a store can use.

Key features

Bulk edits and generation: Select and transform existing products, then review and publish. This is a stronger fit for catalog-wide maintenance than a tool focused only on drafting one listing at a time.
Product and SEO content: It can generate product descriptions, SEO titles, and meta descriptions from product titles, alongside fetched product information such as specifications and features. Merchants still have a review step before publication.
Language and brand voice: The site says it supports all languages and can maintain a consistent brand voice, with language and tone choices shown in its demo. That makes it relevant to global sellers and stores with multiple brands.
Shopify workflow: Integration into Shopify admin keeps selection, transformation, review, and publishing within the merchant’s existing catalog workflow.

Pricing

Apport Enrich is freemium, with a free plan and a free trial. The paid plans are billed monthly; the product allowance is the clearest dividing line between them.

Plan	Price	Allowance and support	Best fit
Free Fetch	0.00 USD per free	50 products/month; bulk generation limited to 10 at once; standard support	Small catalogs or a first look at the workflow
Starter	9.00 USD per month, billed Monthly	100 products/month; priority email support	Merchants whose monthly needs fit a modest allowance
Growth	29.00 USD per month, billed Monthly	1,000 products/month; priority email support	Stores with regular catalog work that outgrows Starter
Pro	79.00 USD per month, billed Monthly	5,000 products/month; 24/7 support plus a manager	High-volume stores that need the largest published allowance and more support

Free Fetch is useful for limited monthly work, but its 10-product bulk-generation cap means a large catalog must be handled in small batches. Starter raises the monthly allowance to 100 without changing the stated support tier beyond priority email. Growth is a substantial capacity step for a higher monthly price, while Pro is the choice for the largest stated volume and 24/7 support plus a manager. The plan terms state monthly billing; no seat allowance is given.

Platforms

Apport Enrich is a web product built into the Shopify admin. Its stated catalog integration is Shopify, so it suits merchants using that platform rather than sellers seeking a general-purpose catalog editor.

Who it's for

Multi-brand stores, scaling businesses, global sellers, and busy entrepreneurs are the intended audience. It is most compelling when a merchant already has a Shopify catalog to improve in batches and wants product descriptions and SEO fields generated in the same workflow. A small store making only occasional edits may find the free cap adequate, while stores with larger recurring workloads should compare their monthly product count with the paid tiers.

Pros and cons

Pro: Bulk selection, AI transformation, review, and publishing are combined inside Shopify admin, which can reduce friction for merchants updating existing catalogs.
Pro: It addresses descriptions and SEO titles and meta descriptions, and includes fetched product details such as specifications and features.
Pro: Language and brand-voice controls are relevant to global sellers and multi-brand stores.
Con: Free Fetch is capped at 50 products per month and only 10 products per bulk generation, limiting its usefulness for substantial catalog projects.
Con: Shopify is the stated catalog integration, so it is not the natural choice for merchants running catalogs elsewhere.

Alternatives

For a broader set of listing-copy options, browse AI Product Description Generators. Choose Blurbi instead if a free plan with 5 descriptions per month, photo-to-listing within its limit, description history, and access across seven platforms matters more than bulk Shopify catalog enrichment. Catalog Mind is a better fit for a merchant wanting a web catalog tool with a free 10-product allowance, CSV export, and WooCommerce integration. Consider Catalogd if a small free trial of AI-written descriptions, AI photo matching, and full CSV export for up to five products is a better starting point. Describely offers a free five-product version and a pay-as-you-go option priced per product, making it worth comparing for teams that prefer API or web access and per-product purchasing. EcomIQX suits readers seeking web, API, or self-hosted access, with its free plan combining monthly credits, keyword research, a connector, and large product imports. Ecopy is an alternative for merchants interested in an AI product-page builder with templates and extension or web access. Esergon offers a free allowance of five listings a month with image or name input and one-click Shopify publishing. InkForge is another web-based product description generator, with a free monthly credit allowance and single-product generation.

Verdict

Apport Enrich is a sensible choice for Shopify merchants who need to refresh existing products in batches and want descriptions and SEO content in one admin workflow. Its strongest case is the combination of bulk processing, brand and language controls, and review before publishing. Look elsewhere if Shopify is not your catalog platform, or if the Free Fetch batch cap and monthly allowances do not match your workload.
