Overview

AI Tutor is a mobile learning assistant for homeschoolers and students studying independently, spanning multiple subjects rather than a single skill. Its strongest fit is a household that wants voice or chat tutoring alongside quizzes, uploaded materials, and parent visibility; the main caveat is that accounts, including child accounts, are limited to users aged 13 and older.

IT Source One provides the app from Amman, Jordan. AI Tutor runs on Android and iOS, with in-app purchases on Google Play. The free Starter allowance is a practical way to explore its study tools, while the paid monthly plans and top-ups suit households that need more capacity.

Key features

Tutoring and study activities

Students can ask questions by voice or chat and follow guided paths adapted to age, grade, and learning level. Worksheet and study-material uploads, an interactive drawing canvas, quizzes with instant feedback, and progress review add useful ways to work through and revisit material. That range makes the app more suited to ongoing study than to a quick answer-only tool, though the monthly study-hour and activity quotas matter for frequent use.

Family visibility and language support

Parents can create child accounts and see studied topics and recent quizzes in a dashboard. Hours, quizzes, and materials from a purchased plan can be shared across linked children, which gives families flexibility but also means children draw on the same allowance. The tutor supports Arabic, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, and Persian, and the interface supports right-to-left text.

Privacy and age

Lesson content is processed by AI providers, which are asked to use it to provide the service rather than sell it as advertising. The privacy policy describes encryption in transit and access controls, says data may be processed outside the user's country, and says personal information is not sold. The 13-and-older account limit is a firm consideration for families seeking an app for younger children.

Pricing

AI Tutor is freemium. The pricing page says paid prices appear in the App Store or Google Play and vary by country; plans without a published price have custom pricing.

Plan	Allowance	Terms
Starter	0.00 USD per free; 30 minutes, 1 quiz, and 1 material upload	Free monthly allowance
Study	15 study hours, 30 quizzes, and 25 material uploads	Custom pricing; 1-month auto-renewing; monthly credits do not roll over
Scholar	24 study hours, 30 quizzes, and 35 material uploads	Custom pricing; 1-month auto-renewing; monthly credits do not roll over
Quick Boost	1 study hour, 1 quiz, and 2 material uploads	Custom pricing; top-up hours remain until used
Study Pack	5 study hours, 10 quizzes, and 5 material uploads	Custom pricing; top-up hours remain until used
Power Pack	10 study hours, 20 quizzes, and 12 material uploads	Custom pricing; top-up hours remain until used

Starter is the low-commitment choice, but its half-hour and single-activity limits make it a sampler, not a substantial monthly study allocation. Study offers a defined allowance for regular use; Scholar adds nine hours and ten uploads while keeping the same 30-quiz cap, but both monthly plans forfeit unused credits at renewal. Top-ups are better for occasional extra sessions because their hours do not expire, though each pack also limits quizzes and uploads. Shared family allowances can stretch across linked children, but the quotas remain finite.

Platforms

AI Tutor is available on Android and iOS. Its language range and right-to-left interface support use across several languages, while the mobile-only platform choice will not suit readers seeking a web or desktop app.

Who it's for

AI Tutor is a sensible candidate for students aged 13 or older who study independently or at home, especially when a family wants to follow topics covered and recent quizzes. It is less suitable for younger children, people seeking a single-subject language-practice app, or households that need predictable paid-plan prices before opening the relevant app store.

Pros and cons

Pro: Voice and chat tutoring, guided paths, uploads, drawing, quizzes, and progress review combine several study modes in one app.
Pro: Parents can check topics and quizzes, and linked children can share purchased plan allowances.
Pro: Eight supported languages and right-to-left interface support broaden its potential reach.
Con: The 13-and-older account rule rules it out for younger learners.
Con: Starter provides only 30 minutes, one quiz, and one upload per monthly allowance.
Con: Study and Scholar credits expire monthly, and paid-plan prices vary by country and appear in the app stores.

Verdict

Choose AI Tutor if a student aged 13 or older needs multi-subject study support and a parent wants visibility into topics and quizzes. Its mix of tutoring, study activities, and family sharing is the clearest reason to choose it. Look elsewhere if the learner is younger, if you need monthly credits to carry forward, or if you require a paid price before committing.
