Overview

Agentforce Vibes combines code completion and chat assistance with a coding agent, codebase indexing, terminal access, and web browsing. That breadth gives developers several kinds of assistance in one offering rather than limiting the product to autocomplete. Support for two IDEs is a practical strength; the listed web and mobile platforms may broaden access, though the product is still best judged as a developer tool.

Key features

Codebase indexing can help ground assistance in a project, while terminal access and web browsing extend the agent's working context. Scheduled runs and human approvals add a degree of automation with a review checkpoint. These capabilities are appealing for developers who want an agent to take on work beyond suggesting code, but the product's stated feature set does not establish how well it performs on any particular codebase or task.

Developers can use Agentforce Vibes IDE or Visual Studio Code. That choice avoids requiring every user to switch editors, while still offering a dedicated IDE for those who prefer one.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes
Salesforce Foundations	0.00 USD per free	Agentforce Vibes included
Flex Credits	500.00 USD per month	100,000 credits
Flat Fee Access	125.00 USD per month, billed monthly	Multiple AI models, flat fee usage, predictable monthly cost

Salesforce Foundations is the sensible starting point for anyone who wants to try the product without a paid commitment. Its stated terms do not give a quota, so developers with sustained or team-wide use should compare the paid options rather than assume the free plan will cover their workload.

Flex Credits sets a monthly price and a 100,000-credit allowance, making it the option to consider when a defined credit pool suits your expected usage. Flat Fee Access costs 125.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and trades a stated credit pool for flat-fee usage, multiple AI models, and predictable monthly cost. That can suit users who value a steadier bill; those whose use fits a credit allowance may prefer to assess Flex Credits. No seat count is stated for these plans, so the listed prices should not be treated as per-seat unless confirmed.

Platforms

Agentforce Vibes supports web, iOS, and Android, as well as the Agentforce Vibes IDE and Visual Studio Code. The combination accommodates desktop development and mobile access, though the mobile platforms do not change the importance of choosing an IDE for coding work.

Who it's for

Choose Agentforce Vibes if you want code completion, conversational assistance, and an agent with indexing, terminal, browsing, scheduling, and approval capabilities in the same product. It is less compelling for someone seeking only a basic completion tool, or for a buyer who needs a clearly stated free quota or seat-based paid terms before committing.

Pros and cons

Pros

More than autocomplete: chat, a coding agent, codebase indexing, and terminal access cover several stages of development assistance.
Choice of IDE: support for both Agentforce Vibes IDE and Visual Studio Code lets developers use either environment.
Free starting point: Salesforce Foundations includes Agentforce Vibes at 0.00 USD per free.
Two paid cost structures: a 100,000-credit monthly plan and flat-fee monthly access give buyers distinct ways to manage usage costs.

Cons

Free-plan limits are unclear: no quota is stated, making it difficult to judge whether the free option will sustain regular use.
Flex Credits has a substantial monthly commitment: 500.00 USD per month may be a poor fit for individuals who do not need its 100,000 credits.
Seat terms are unclear: the paid plan prices do not state a seat count, complicating comparisons for teams.

Alternatives

For a simpler free web-based option, Configure to WIN is also freemium and supports web access. If you want a broader business platform rather than a coding assistant, Epicor Kinetic offers cloud packages, concurrent user licenses, and industry bundles across several platforms, with custom pricing. camos CPQ 365 is a paid CPQ option with cloud or on-premise deployment and custom pricing based on company size, users, and desired functions.

For a paid option with no public price or plan limits stated, consider Vendavo CPQ. Cincom CPQ is another quote-based alternative, with API, self-hosted, and web platforms. Configure One is a web-based paid option that directs buyers to contact the provider for pricing. encoway CPQ is a paid, web and self-hosted CPQ product with CPQ Studio, CPQ Sales, and CPQ Showroom. Experlogix CPQ is a web-based paid alternative that offers a free trial.

Verdict

Agentforce Vibes is a strong fit for developers who want an IDE-based assistant that combines completion and chat with agent-oriented tools, plus a free way to start. Its main reason to choose it is that breadth across coding assistance and automation; its main reason to look elsewhere is pricing uncertainty around free-plan limits and paid seats, particularly if a team needs predictable per-user costs.
