Overview

Anymail Finder is a business email search and verification service for sales teams, recruiters and others who need work contacts. Its strongest case is paying credits only for addresses that pass live verification; bulk search and several lookup routes make it useful beyond one-off searches.

It is less compelling for buyers who want a broad contact database or need predictable credit costs without tracking different lookup rates and expiry terms.

Key features

Search and verification

Search by name, domain, company, decision-maker role or LinkedIn URL, or upload a CSV or Excel file with up to 100,000 rows. Live verification is built into finding, and searches with no verified result cost nothing. That result-based billing reduces the risk of spending credits on failed lookups, although decision-maker searches consume twice the credits of standard person or company searches.

A verified person or company email costs one credit; a verified decision-maker email costs two; separate email verification costs 0.2 credits per address. The maker reports that its benchmark of 5,000 B2B contacts found verified emails for 86.4% of contacts at 98.9% accuracy. Those figures are the maker’s benchmark, not a guarantee for every list or search.

API, extension and integrations

The REST API supports synchronous individual searches and bulk jobs delivered by webhook, with no rate limits stated by the maker. A Chrome extension finds verified addresses while browsing and draws from the same account and credit pool as the web app and API. Google Sheets, MCP clients including Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, Zapier, Make, n8n and Clay integrations give teams options for fitting searches into existing workflows.

Unlimited team members can share one credit pool without per-seat fees, which suits collaborative teams. The trade-off is that usage is pooled rather than allocated by seat.

Privacy and security

Verified business contact information may be kept in a shared database and returned to other customers. Customer lists, search history and search inputs are not made available to other customers as such, but organizations that require exclusive control over verified contact data should weigh that shared-database policy before uploading or searching lists.

The maker describes HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and at rest, internal access controls, multi-factor authentication, security audits, vulnerability assessments and infrastructure monitoring. Hosting is on Amazon Web Services in the United States and Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.

Pricing

The entry subscription is 29.00 USD per month for 400 credits per month, with unlimited team members sharing credits. The pricing page also shows a 400-credit monthly plan at 29.00 USD per month, at $0.073 per credit. For modest use, this keeps the commitment low, but the small pool can run down quickly if decision-maker searches are common.

Higher monthly tiers are 49.00 USD per month for 1,000 credits ($0.049 per credit), 89.00 USD per month for 2,000 ($0.045), 149.00 USD per month for 5,000 ($0.030), 199.00 USD per month for 10,000 ($0.020), 299.00 USD per month for 25,000 ($0.012), 499.00 USD per month for 50,000 ($0.010) and 799.00 USD per month for 100,000 ($0.008). Larger pools lower the stated per-credit cost, making them better suited to sustained high-volume prospecting than occasional use.

Annual options are 348.00 USD per year for 4,800 credits ($0.048 per credit; save $120) and 588.00 USD per year for 12,000 credits ($0.032 per credit; save $204). These lower the effective credit rate versus the matching monthly volume, but require an annual billing commitment.

Subscription credits roll over while the subscription remains active; after cancellation, remaining credits expire at the end of the billing period. One-time pack credits last 12 months. The service also advertises a free plan and free trial, but no caps or trial length are given. The published 400-credit entry plan provides a clear paid starting point, while larger-volume buyers can choose a lower per-credit rate.

Platforms

Anymail Finder is available on the web, through a Chrome extension and via API. The API supports both individual and bulk workflows; the extension is useful for browser-based prospecting, with all three routes sharing credits.

Who it's for

Sales and RevOps teams, recruiters, agencies, founders, developers and data teams are among the audiences the maker serves. It is a strong fit for teams that value verified work addresses, need bulk processing or want to automate searches through the API. It is a weaker fit for buyers who need contact data kept exclusive or whose usage is too sporadic to make subscription credits worthwhile.

Pros and cons

Result-based charges: searches without a verified address are free, so failed lookups do not consume credits.
Flexible workflows: name, company, role and LinkedIn searches, large file uploads, API access and a browser extension cover different prospecting needs.
No per-seat fee: unlimited teammates can use a shared credit pool, though teams must manage that pool together.
Usage needs attention: decision-maker searches cost two credits and separate verification costs 0.2 credits per address, so the headline pool is not a simple count of contacts.
Shared-data privacy trade-off: verified business contact details may be returned to other customers, which may not suit organizations seeking exclusivity.
Expiry conditions matter: subscription credits are forfeited after cancellation at period end, while pack credits have a 12-month validity.

Alternatives

Datagma is worth considering if a freemium service with a free plan, API, extension and web access better suits your starting point; its free tier includes 90 emails per month, three phones per month and one seat.

Hunter may suit buyers who want a free entry tier with 50 monthly credits, Basic Discover filters and one connected email account.

SalesQL offers a free forever tier with 50 credits per month, one seat, 100 campaign recipients per month and prospecting actions of up to 25 contacts, making it an option for smaller, seat-limited use.

Skrapp.io is another freemium option; its free tier includes 50 credits for one user and limited lead search, while its Professional plan lists 2,000 credits per month and two users at 29.00 USD per month when billed annually.

Snov.io may suit buyers who want a trial that includes 50 credits, 100 recipients and one email warm-up slot.

Kaspr is an alternative for buyers prioritizing a free per-user tier with monthly email and phone credits; it runs on API and extension platforms.

AeroLeads is another freemium web option.

ContactOut is worth comparing if API access is the priority; its free plan includes 10 credits.

Verdict

Anymail Finder is a good choice for teams that need verified business emails across individual, bulk and automated workflows, especially when shared credits and no-charge failed searches suit their process. Choose another service if shared-database retention is unacceptable, or if credit expiry and variable credit costs make budgeting too awkward.
