Overview

AceUp is an enterprise leadership development platform that connects human coaching, AI sessions, practice, reflection and progress in one experience. Its approach is strongest for organizations that want coaching to extend beyond scheduled sessions and connect to team priorities; it is less suited to buyers seeking a self-serve, transparently priced individual coaching app.

The platform serves frontline and mid-level employees, managers, high-potential cohorts and executives. AceUp says its global network includes more than 3,500 coaches, each PCC or MCC certified and bringing at least 10 years of senior corporate leadership experience. That breadth may help organizations deploy coaching across different levels while retaining experienced human coaches.

Key features

AI and human coaching

Ally, AceUp’s AI coaching companion, is available in Slack and Microsoft Teams. It offers contextual nudges, voice role-play simulations, meeting preparation and debriefs, team alignment and micro-learning. Embedding these prompts in work tools can support practice between coach sessions; organizations should weigh that convenience against whether AI-led guidance fits their coaching needs.

AceUp connects Ally sessions with human coaching, preparation, practice, reflection and progress tracking. Coach matching, mixed coaching formats and session management support a coordinated program rather than a standalone chatbot. Mobile apps extend access beyond the web platform.

Team development and analytics

AceUp assesses teams, aligns coaching with business priorities and tracks how groups communicate, decide and deliver. TalentOS combines program activity, assessments, team health and development signals to show program health and organizational capability. This gives program owners a view across interventions, while organizational insights are aggregated rather than exposing private coaching conversations.

Integrations, security and privacy

Alongside Slack and Microsoft Teams, AceUp lists Zoom, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle integrations. SAML/SSO, configurable data residency, SOC 2 Type II and continuous AI safety monitoring address enterprise deployment considerations. AceUp also lists GDPR support and displays GDPR and CCPA assurance badges. It says individual coaching conversations remain confidential.

Pricing

AceUp is paid, with custom pricing for its enterprise coaching programs; buyers are directed to book a discovery call. There is no public plan price or published seat, usage or trial allowance to compare, so organizations will need a quote to judge fit against their program scope and budget. The enterprise program includes coaching, development tracking and manager tools, but the published plan description does not set out usage limits or contract terms.

Platforms

AceUp supports Android, iOS and web. Ally is available in Slack and Microsoft Teams, and the platform lists Zoom, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle among its integrations. SSO is supported, a practical consideration for organizations managing access centrally.

Who it's for

AceUp is a strong candidate for employers coordinating coaching across executives, managers, high-potential cohorts and frontline or mid-level populations. Its team assessment and business-priority alignment suit programs expected to support group performance as well as individual development. Organizations that need a public price, a clearly stated free tier or a coaching tool for individual use should compare other options before committing to a discovery call.

Pros and cons

Pros: Human coaching and Ally sessions share a continuous development experience, supporting practice and reflection between coach meetings.
Pros: Team assessment and TalentOS connect development activity with team health and organizational capability, useful for program owners overseeing more than individual sessions.
Pros: A stated network of more than 3,500 experienced, PCC- or MCC-certified coaches can serve programs spanning multiple employee levels.
Pros: SSO, configurable data residency and named security and privacy measures address common enterprise deployment concerns.
Cons: Custom pricing requires a sales conversation before buyers can compare cost or assess budget fit.
Cons: Organizational reporting aggregates insights rather than exposing private coaching content, so leaders seeking individual conversation details should not expect them.

Alternatives

Employee Coaching Software is the category page for comparing coaching tools. Consider these alternatives when their pricing model, platform coverage or program approach better matches your needs:

RedSeed is worth considering if a free plan matters: it offers a free tier for you and two team members with all learning content, one month of rolling data and limited Archie AI. Its listed Enterprise plan is 18.20 USD per month.
CoachHub is another paid coaching platform for buyers willing to request a demo rather than compare a public price.
Coaching Loft may suit coaches seeking a small-client entry point: its Basic plan is 1.00 USD per month, billed annually, for two clients or coachees, 50 MB of storage, base functionality, a public coach profile and Google calendar sync.
Korn Ferry Assess is an option for buyers considering a paid assessment product with pricing on request.
Nadia offers an enterprise plan with pricing by demo request, customized for the organization.
Sharpist offers custom organizational coaching with a flexible credit model for buyers seeking a tailored program.
Together prices custom solutions based on learner numbers, match types and program goals, with payment tied to actively matched participating users.
Bettercoach offers a pay-by-usage approach with no lock-in fees or licenses, for buyers who prefer that model.

Verdict

Choose AceUp if your organization needs human coaching, AI-supported practice and team development tracking in a connected leadership program. Its coach network, workflow integrations and organizational reporting make it a considered enterprise choice. Look elsewhere if you need upfront pricing or individual-level coaching conversations in organizational reports.
