Overview

The platform follows a supplier from identification and evaluation through selection, onboarding, contract implementation, and ongoing performance management. That end-to-end model can reduce handoffs between procurement activities, supplier records, and operational follow-up. Smaller teams seeking only a contract repository or a narrow sourcing tool may find the scope excessive.

Wisage Technology Ltd., headquartered in Hong Kong, makes the product. It is offered either as software installed on premises or as a SaaS service, giving organizations control over hosting strategy but requiring a clear infrastructure and governance choice.

Key features

A supplier self-service portal covers supplier information, bid requests and submissions, documents, contracts, orders, reverse auctions, delivery collaboration, invoices, and payments. This is a substantial range: suppliers can engage before award and continue through fulfillment and settlement instead of switching between disconnected channels. Organizations with suppliers unwilling or unable to use a portal will realize less of that benefit.

Teams can create appraisal questionnaires, send them automatically to selected appraisers, and calculate results from assigned scores. That supports repeatable reviews rather than ad hoc evaluations, especially where several stakeholders assess the same supplier. Classification spans eight categories, including rejected, disqualified, and blacklisted, which gives procurement teams explicit status distinctions for governance and future decisions.

The product can connect to the TianYanCha business-search platform for supplier credit information. That is particularly relevant to organizations whose risk process uses that service; it is a narrower advantage for teams operating outside that data ecosystem.

Real-time supplier performance and growth reports provide ongoing visibility, while user-defined alerts handle reminders, notifications, and escalations. These controls can help teams act on deteriorating performance or pending actions before issues become missed obligations.

Customization reaches fields, pages, menus, dashboard components, default language, and navigation flows. This flexibility can align the application with established procurement terminology and approval paths, but it also places more responsibility on administrators to maintain a coherent configuration.

APIs support ERP integration, including supplier, product, budget, invoice, and payment data. The web-service interface can import and create data, and a programming API supports further customization. Mobile-internet support includes Android and iOS apps, extending access beyond desktop workflows.

For SaaS deployments, the stated controls include HTTPS in transit, two-factor authentication, AES-256 encryption for files and databases, SHA-256 password hashing, and PGP-4096 encryption for license files. Those measures address common transmission, access, and storage concerns, although organizations will still need to assess their own compliance requirements.

Pricing

The 8Manage Supplier Management plan uses custom pricing. It includes supplier onboarding, qualification workflows, and performance scorecards, and can be deployed on premises or as SaaS. This arrangement suits organizations that need a tailored enterprise deployment and are prepared for a sales-led purchase. It gives buyers no published price for straightforward budget comparison, so teams should obtain a quote that reflects users, integrations, hosting, and configuration needs.

Platforms

8Manage Supplier Management runs on Android, iOS, web, API, and self-hosted environments. The combination supports mobile users, browser-based teams, integration projects, and organizations that require on-premises hosting rather than SaaS.

Who it's for

This is a strong candidate for procurement and supplier-governance teams managing many vendors and wanting lifecycle, portal, appraisal, risk, transaction, and reporting functions in one environment. It is also relevant where ERP integration, configurable workflows, or a self-hosted option are requirements. A small organization with simple supplier records, or a buyer needing only sourcing or contract management, should first consider a narrower product.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad lifecycle coverage: identification, qualification, onboarding, contracts, and performance sit within one supplier process.
Extensive supplier portal: bids, orders, delivery, invoices, payments, and reverse auctions cover both sourcing and operational collaboration.
Configurable governance: scored appraisals, eight supplier classifications, alerts, reports, and customizable navigation support formal controls.
Integration and deployment choice: ERP APIs, web services, mobile apps, SaaS, and on-premises deployment accommodate varied technical environments.

Cons

Custom pricing: buyers cannot compare a published fee or estimate the cost without requesting a quote.
Configuration burden: extensive control over fields, pages, menus, and flows can require dedicated administration to avoid inconsistent processes.
Potentially broad scope: teams needing only contracts or basic sourcing may pay for capabilities outside their immediate needs.
TianYanCha dependency: the credit-data connection is most useful to organizations that already rely on that platform.

Alternatives

Supplier Management Software is the broader category to review when you want to compare this lifecycle approach with other supplier platforms.

oboloo is a freemium, web and API option with a free plan, free trial, and a Contract Plus plan at 10.00 USD per month; choose it when low-commitment contract work and published entry pricing matter more than 8Manage's supplier lifecycle breadth.

Qeluntra offers a free plan for one entity and one power user, with paid tiers sized for three or eight power users; it fits smaller teams wanting a freemium starting point.

Epicor Kinetic is a paid, multi-platform product with selectable platform cores, cloud packages, concurrent-user licensing, and industry bundles; consider it when those ERP-oriented packaging choices are central.

GEP SMART Contract Management is a paid contract-management alternative for teams focused on contract work.

Ivalua Contract Management targets enterprise CLM with paid pricing by contact; choose it for a dedicated enterprise contract-lifecycle focus.

Gainfront Sourcing & RFx is a paid web product for teams prioritizing sourcing and RFx activity.

JAGGAER Contracts is a paid web contract product with custom pricing; it suits buyers seeking that narrower contract emphasis.

Market Dojo combines a free plan with a Simple Sourcing annual licence at 500.00 GBP per year, making it a practical alternative when sourcing and eAuctions with a published annual price are the priority.

Verdict

Choose 8Manage Supplier Management when your organization needs a configurable, integrated system for a large supplier base, from onboarding and qualification through portal transactions and scored performance management. Look elsewhere if you need transparent pricing, a lightweight single-purpose tool, or a solution whose core data and workflows do not require this level of breadth and administration.
