Overview

Quickcode is a cloud-based trade service for brokers, importers and manufacturers who need classification and related trade workflows in a web tool. Its range spans sanctions screening, landed-cost calculation and trade documents, while its plans are divided by classification volume and monitored-product capacity. It is a better fit for teams with a clear need for those limits than for buyers seeking a broad, uncapped entry tier.

Key features

Tariff classification: The free plan allows 10 classifications per month, making it suitable for occasional use or a small initial workload. The Broker Partner Program raises that to 500 a month, a more practical allowance for brokers with recurring cases, though the $749 monthly charge makes volume important to justify.
Sanctions screening: Screening sits alongside classification in Quickcode’s trade workflow set. That combination may suit teams that want both functions in one service, but the plan descriptions do not tie screening to a particular tier.
Landed costs and trade documents: Quickcode also calculates landed costs and generates trade documents. Those functions broaden its appeal beyond classification, although the plan descriptions do not distinguish which tiers include them.
Product monitoring: The Importers & Manufacturers plan accommodates up to 25,000 total monitored products. That ceiling is aimed at organizations managing a sizable catalogue; buyers should weigh it against the plan’s $3,000 monthly price.

Pricing

Quickcode has a free plan, paid plans from $749/mo and a 7-day trial. The paid plans are billed monthly.

Plan	Price	Allowance	Best suited to
Always Free	Free	10 classifications per month	Light or occasional classification needs
Broker Partner Program	749.00 USD per month	500 classifications; unlimited seats	Broker teams that need a recurring monthly classification allowance
Importers & Manufacturers	3000.00 USD per month	Up to 25,000 total monitored products	Importers and manufacturers with a large product catalogue to monitor

The free tier keeps costs at zero but caps monthly classification at 10. The Broker Partner Program adds 500 classifications and removes a seat ceiling, which is useful for larger teams but costs $749 each month. Importers & Manufacturers shifts the emphasis to monitored products rather than a stated classification quota; its $3,000 monthly price is harder to justify unless the 25,000-product capacity matches the business’s needs. A 7-day trial gives buyers a short window to evaluate the service before committing.

Platforms

Quickcode is a web service deployed in the cloud. That makes it suited to teams using a browser-based workflow rather than software installed on a particular desktop platform.

Who it's for

Quickcode is most relevant to customs brokers, importers and manufacturers whose work calls for classification or product monitoring alongside other trade tasks. Small-scale users can begin with 10 monthly classifications at no charge. Broker teams can share the 500-classification monthly allowance across unlimited seats, while manufacturers and importers with larger catalogues have a dedicated plan capped at 25,000 monitored products. It is less compelling for anyone who cannot make use of those quotas or needs a clearly stated tier allocation for screening, landed costs or document generation before choosing a plan.

Pros and cons

Pro: Classification, sanctions screening, landed-cost calculation and trade document generation sit in one cloud service, which can consolidate several trade tasks.
Pro: The Broker Partner Program includes unlimited seats, avoiding a per-seat cap for teams sharing its monthly allowance.
Con: The free plan’s 10-classification monthly limit is restrictive for regular workloads.
Con: The $749 and $3,000 monthly plans are substantial commitments, and their stated capacities serve different needs rather than offering a simple progression in classification volume.
Con: The plan descriptions do not assign the screening, landed-cost or document functions to individual tiers, making plan fit less clear for buyers focused on those tools.

Alternatives

Trade Management Software is a broader category to explore when comparing Quickcode with other trade-management options.

CustomsLogIQ is worth considering for users who want an API as well as web access and a usage-based entry point: it includes three monthly credits and charges $1 per credit thereafter, with single and vision classification and manual one-item entry.
Descartes Visual Compliance may suit buyers prioritizing online, batch and dynamic screening with search tuning, compliance workflows, allow/block lists, automated records and a seven-year audit trail. Its Standard plan price is not published.
e2open Global Trade Management is another web-based paid option; pricing is not published.
Descartes Global EASE may suit organizations that want to buy modules independently or combine them into an integrated suite. Pricing is available by demo request.
GingerControl is an alternative with API, self-hosted and web options, plus one-time classification credit packs. Those packs can suit buyers who prefer purchasing credits rather than a monthly Quickcode plan.
MIC-CUST is another paid, web-based option.
XEMI is a paid web option with a free trial and customized pricing based on business needs.
AEB Customs Management is another paid, web-based option.

Verdict

Quickcode is a sensible choice for brokers, importers and manufacturers who can match their workload to its 500-classification broker allowance or 25,000-product monitoring cap, and who value classification, screening, landed costs and trade documents together. The free 10-classification tier gives occasional users a way in, but the main reason to look elsewhere is the steep monthly cost of paid plans if their distinct quotas do not fit your operation.
