What Yandex Music is
Yandex Music is a freemium audio service with a licensed collection of tens of millions of tracks, podcasts, and audiobooks. My Wave recommends tracks and builds listening scenarios using a listener’s taste and context, including time, day, and playback device. The service works in browsers, Android and iOS apps, Windows and macOS apps, TVs through Kinopoisk, supported cars, Bluetooth, and Alice smart speakers. CarPlay and Android Auto can provide controls through a vehicle’s standard head unit. A Yandex ID synchronizes libraries and recommendations across apps, the website, and a Station. The mobile app can recognize nearby music and save identified tracks to a playlist. Offline downloads are available only in apps, encrypted, and playable only on the downloading device. Licensed tracks can disappear when rights are unavailable or expire. The listed Яндекс Плюс plan costs 449 RUB a month for four accounts and ten devices; a trial period can last up to 60 days.
Who it suits
