Wise Proctor

What Wise Proctor is

Wise Proctor is a web-based automated online proctoring service for schools and other organisations that provide tests. It monitors webcams, computers, screens and audio, with a customizable security level and real-time monitoring. The service requires no software or browser extension installation. Wise says it works on any student device with a webcam, including Chromebooks, and is compatible with every LMS and testing platform. Its stated audiences include K–12, higher education and other testing settings. There is no minimum student count: the listed model is a flat per-student fee for unlimited use, with schools paying for the students they need. Pricing is on request. Wise says it provides 24/7 phone and email support for students, professors and administrators. It also says student data is confidential and used to provide and improve services for the school, with collection and handling governed by institutional contracts and applicable laws, including FERPA in the United States. Wise says it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate school consent and authorization.
