VPLens
What VPLens is
VPLens is web software for analyzing fixed-camera team-sports footage and producing player-specific highlights. It follows players through a game and groups resulting clips by jersey number, so coaches do not need to tag each athlete manually. The service accepts uploaded full-game video and user-provided live stream sources, while live streams themselves must be hosted elsewhere. Wide-angle and broadcast-style footage are supported, with wide-angle video recommended. Automatic event detection is included. Processing may take two to three times the video length, although the maker says most games finish within a few hours depending on length and system load. VPBoard adds video annotation and visualizes formations and movement. Players view clips and feedback through a private team subdomain and can comment there. VPLens Plus provides real-time match insights for live sessions. Optional paid exports include clips, enhanced annotated clips, and poster images. Plans are paid annually, from $1,000 a year to $10,000 a year.
