TabIt
What TabIt is
TabIt is paid Windows software for creating, playing, and printing guitar, bass, or banjo tablature. Users can enter tabs and hear playback through computer speakers, arrange up to 15 simultaneous tracks, choose instruments from 128 options, and include up to 47 different drums. Tablature can be exported as plain text or standard MIDI files, and community-transcribed tabs are available for download, viewing, and playback in TabIt. The full version costs $19, paid once as a one-time registration fee with no recurring charge. Registration unlocks editing up to 2000 bars, multiple-track playback, MIDI export, and unlimited printed pages. TabIt supports Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, Me, and 98; there is no Mac version. MIDI playback sound depends on the computer's sound card.
