Substly is a SaaS management platform for small and medium-sized businesses that identifies software use, tracks subscriptions, and helps manage access. Its discovery engine uses Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and browser extensions to find applications. The Monitor plan covers multi-source discovery, Shadow IT detection, contract and cost management, and renewal alerts. It can notify employees when they access applications marked as unapproved. Optimize adds individual-level usage data, unused-license detection, employee offboarding, and Microsoft 365 license monitoring and optimization. The offboarding feature helps remove access when employees leave, and Substly says it can save up to 90% of offboarding time. Customer data is encrypted and stored in the EU for GDPR compliance; custom plans can choose EU or US hosting. Google or Microsoft single sign-on and authenticator-app multi-factor authentication are listed. Monitor starts at $130 a month and Optimize at $260 a month, both billed monthly.
