What Statically is

Statically is a CDN for serving static files from Git repositories, npm packages, and other open source projects. It can deliver assets such as CSS and JavaScript libraries through URL patterns for GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket repositories. For GitHub Gists, a separate URL pattern serves raw files. Requests to its npm CDN can identify a package and may also specify a version and file path. Statically says its delivery is powered by bunny.net and Cloudflare and reaches users worldwide. It is available through the web and an API.

The Free plan costs nothing, supports public repositories, and has a 25 MB per-file limit. The homepage calls the CDN free and does not give prices for paid plans. Statically has disabled its /img/ endpoint because of abuse and high traffic. Its status page shows all services online and 100% uptime for statically.io and cdn.statically.io over the displayed 30-day period. The homepage footer shows © 2018–2025 Statically.

Choose Statically to serve static assets from public Git repositories, GitHub Gists, or npm packages through a free CDN. Look elsewhere if you need files above 25 MB, private repositories, or the disabled /img/ endpoint.
