The record

Purpose: SKCraft Launcher distributes Minecraft modpacks through a custom launcher.
Branding: Pack creators can use their own launcher logo, branding, and news feed.
Modpack creation: Modpacks can be assembled by dragging configuration and mod files into folders, with a GUI tool and command-line option.
Updates: The launcher supports resuming incomplete downloads, incremental updates, and deduplication of files shared across updates or modpacks.
Loaders: It supports LiteLoader, Forge, Fabric, and custom JAR mods, as well as resource packs and other mod files.
Optional content: Users can select optional mods or features, and creators can provide hidden modpacks accessible with a secret code.
Self updates: The launcher can update itself and can run in portable mode.
Deployment requirement: Creators need a website or another place to host files for players to download; the repository says PHP is not required.
Automation: Modpacks can be generated from Git or another version control system using a continuous integration server, including separate packs per branch or tag.
Getting started: The project says setup will probably take a few hours and links to a detailed wiki with screenshots for people with minimal technical experience.
Desktop support: The project wiki gives build instructions for Windows, Linux/BSD, and Mac OS X and says the launcher and creator tools require Java 8 minimum.
Distribution status: The GitHub releases page says there are no releases there; the wiki describes building the launcher from source and running its JAR.
License: The launcher is licensed under GNU Lesser General Public License version 3.
Support: The project README directs users to its detailed wiki for setup guidance.
