SaveXTube Desktop is a paid downloader for video, subtitles, audio, and social images on Windows and macOS. It supports YouTube, X, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, WeChat Channels, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, and other yt-dlp or gallery-dl sources. Users can choose common resolutions and formats, extract audio, keep subtitles, and process batches. Full-resolution images from Xiaohongshu, X, Instagram, and Telegram can be downloaded in bulk. A local model transcribes video without uploading the original media, while a selected AI service can turn transcripts into summaries and mind maps. Download jobs may be submitted through WeChat, a private Telegram bot, iOS Shortcuts over HTTP, or an MCP-compatible AI agent. History, cookies, media, and local transcripts remain on the computer without required cloud-library synchronization. The app has no account system; license-validation data is sent to its license provider. Personal licensing is 128.00 CNY per once, with no subscription, for up to three personal computers and updates within the current major version. Downloads support Apple Silicon and Intel Macs on macOS 12 or later and Windows x64 on Windows 10 version 1809 or later or Windows 11.
