SAi EnRoute is Windows CAD/CAM software for CNC routing, fabrication, nested manufacturing and creative production. It supports CNC routers, plasma, waterjet, laser and knife cutters. Its listed applications include signs, furniture, cabinetry, moulding, textured panels, channel letters and art. Automatic toolpathing and nesting help prepare parts for processing and save material. Rapid Texture creates textures, while Rapid Picture can turn an imported image into a relief. Users can render toolpaths in 2D and 3D to review them for mistakes before output. EnRoute imports 2D and 3D DXF files, along with 3D meshes in 3DS, STL and OBJ formats. SAi says it provides drivers for hundreds of machine models and can create one when a needed driver is unavailable.
