RidNacs
What RidNacs is
RidNacs is a free Windows disk-space analyzer that scans drives or folders and shows which files consume storage. It can scan hard drives, network drives and individual folders, presenting results in a multi-column tree with percentage bars. Files below a chosen size can be grouped, while incompletely scanned directories receive a marker. Results can be exported as XML, HTML, CSV or text files for printing or later comparison. Files can be opened or deleted inside the application. Windows Explorer integration adds RidNacs to a drive or folder’s right-click menu. A favorites list combines drives with recently used folders, and skins change the percentage chart style. The maker lists Windows support from XP through Windows 11 and describes high scan performance with a small memory footprint. Version 3.0 is offered as a portable ZIP or installer.
