Resumonk

What Resumonk is

Resumonk is a web service for creating resumes and cover letters, finding matching jobs, preparing applications, and identifying connections at target companies. It provides 20 templates, resume import, AI writing tools, and a cover-letter builder. The AI improvement feature shows edits, lets users compare rewritten lines with originals, and supports undoing changes. Resumonk says it searches thousands of jobs continuously for opportunities matching a profile; users prepare applications with highlighted experience and submit them themselves. A public LinkedIn profile can be imported without providing a LinkedIn password. The free plan costs nothing and includes one resume, six templates, one AI improvement pass, and one AI job rewrite. Its PDF download carries a small Resumonk footer. Professional and Executive plans add unlimited resumes and cover letters, all 21 templates, clean PDF and DOCX downloads, and always-on job searches, with Executive also offering warm introductions. There is no mobile app or ATS optimization.

Who it suits

Resumonk suits applicants who want browser-based resume, cover-letter, job-search, and application tools. It is less suited to users requiring a mobile app or dedicated ATS optimization.

Limits

The free plan is limited to one resume and six templates, with one AI improvement pass and one AI job rewrite. Its PDF download includes a small Resumonk footer. AI features on paid plans have fair-use limits; the pricing page says ordinary job searches do not reach them.

Getting started

1. Visit https://www.resumonk.com/.
2. Use the web service to begin working on a resume.
3. Start with the free plan, which includes one resume and six templates.
4. Choose Professional or Executive for additional templates, searches, and other plan features.
5. Import a public LinkedIn profile if you want to bring profile information into the service.

Verdict

Resumonk combines application-document creation with job discovery and profile-based assistance. Its free plan supports a basic start, while cleaner exports and broader limits require paid plans.
