What Placeit is

Placeit is a browser-based creator for mockups, videos, and design templates used in branding and marketing. Its subscription includes mockups, customizable design templates, videos, and professionally designed logos, while free templates can also be customized and downloaded. Video templates are listed for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch. Mockups, templates, and logos download as PNG files; videos download as MP4 files. Placeit says purchases include a commercial license. The annual Unlimited Subscription costs $89.69 a year, billed yearly, and lists unlimited downloads, commercial usage, and high resolution. Placeit has a free plan but no free trial. Designs can be edited on the website, but editable PSD files are not provided. If a downloaded asset needs changes, the user must create and download a new image, which incurs an additional charge. Users can use the same email address for Placeit and other Envato sites or link existing accounts. After cancellation, created products remain accessible, though Placeit does not guarantee they will remain stored permanently on its servers.
