What PerfectIt is

PerfectIt helps professionals locate consistency mistakes and style issues in documents, then suggests checks rather than rewriting text. It reviews hyphenation, list punctuation, acronym definitions, spelling, capitalization, numbers in sentences, headings, comments, extra spaces and placeholder text. Included styles cover UK, US, Canadian and Australian spelling, as well as guidance for organisations including the European Union, United Nations, World Health Organization and Australian Government. Users can also manage terminology, brand voice rules and custom style guides. PerfectIt works inside Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, though the PowerPoint version is limited to Elite, Team and Enterprise subscriptions. The Windows edition works offline and keeps documents on the computer; PerfectIt Cloud sends a document for checking and deletes it afterward. PerfectIt does not generate or rewrite text, leaving editorial decisions to the user. It offers a free 14-day trial without a credit card. The product is paid, with plan prices not listed.
