Nexus Mods App

What Nexus Mods App is
Nexus Mods App is a free mod manager for installing, managing and building game mods on Windows and Linux, including SteamOS/Linux environments. It remains in development and currently supports a select group of games. Supported Nexus Mods pages can send mods to the app through Mod Manager buttons, while mods from other websites can be imported manually; rich metadata is available only for Nexus Mods downloads. Players can create multiple loadouts for one game and switch between setups. Health Check performs game-specific diagnostics after loadout changes, reporting suggestions, warnings or critical issues such as incompatibilities, dangerous edits and outdated mods. The app records changes made outside it, lets users alter deployment instructions, apply them to game folders and revert changes. Workspaces use tabs and up to four panels. Content hashing identifies files, with a hash database required for each supported game version. Collections are planned, and the repository is GPL-3.0 licensed and archived.
Who it suits
It suits players managing multiple mod configurations for supported games on Windows or Linux. Users should note that compatibility is limited while development continues.
