NetZero Email provides free email plus paid annual plans for larger mailboxes and additional controls. NetZero Message Center offers browser access from an internet-connected computer, while phones can use internet browsing. Free Email lets users create as many addresses as they want, with unlimited email, mobile and web access, a 1GB individual mailbox, and a 10MB maximum message size including attachments. NetZero says its spam and email-virus protection blocks about 90% of junk mail and helps protect against harmful viruses, while noting that some viruses may not be detected or cleaned. MegaMail costs 29.95 USD per year for 2GB storage; MegaMail Plus costs 42.95 USD per year for 5GB. Both can check up to three other accounts, support forwarding, work with programs such as Outlook or Eudora, save drafts automatically, and refresh the inbox automatically. Paid options are annual only, with no monthly purchase.
