Mone is a free, open-source Android app for downloading media from Instagram, Pinterest, X, WhatsApp, and more than 1,000 sites supported by yt-dlp. Video choices include Best, 1080p, and 720p, as well as audio-only M4A; users can also select a video section to download. Multiple links can be queued, processed a few at a time, and canceled individually. The app can fetch direct image links to the gallery, save viewed WhatsApp statuses by date, and accept a reel shared from another app. Downloads can continue after leaving the app, with notifications and history. Login-gated Instagram reels require the user’s own account, and the session stays in private internal storage on the device. Mone uses yt-dlp through embedded Python and ffmpeg for media merging. It requires a 64-bit device running Android 7.0 or later and is installed through a sideloaded APK, not Google Play. The maker warns that YouTube downloads may be unreliable, some codec and resolution merges may be limited, and site extractors can stop working until yt-dlp updates. Playlist downloads are not supported.
