MakeAI CV is a web tool for building, editing, and exporting CVs and résumés. The maker says it is completely free, with no paid plans or payments currently offered. Users can create unlimited CVs and download PDF files without a watermark. Eight ATS-friendly templates are listed, with controls for colors and fonts. A live preview updates while typing, applies automatic page breaks, and uses A4 formatting. Signed-in users can import a résumé PDF into an editable CV within a monthly limit. ATS optimization is available, but target-role tailoring and job-description matching are not. AI writing, job tailoring, and AI cover-letter generation are switched off. Guest CVs remain in the browser until cleared or an account is created. The maker says it does not sell personal data, use it for advertising or third-party tracking, or train AI models with CV content. Account creation requires age 16 or the local digital-consent age.
Who it is for
It suits anyone seeking a free web-based CV builder with ATS-friendly templates and watermark-free PDF downloads. Users who need active AI writing, role tailoring, or job-description matching will not find those features available.
