What Lyriq is

Lyriq is a web songwriting workspace for turning loose ideas into developed lyrics. Writers can draft to a beat, use AI for contextual next-line ideas, rewrites, variations and hooks, record takes, track drafts and share feedback. The AI suggestions are optional, and writers retain control over the lyric. Beat tools include tempo controls, playback and looping, bar mapping, lyric density guidance and stress planning. Language Explorer covers perfect, near and phrase rhymes; Pro adds internal rhyme patterns, the full Rhyme Map and whole-song sound analysis. Writing DNA adapts suggestions to writing choices users keep, with the full profile available on Pro. The Idea Inbox keeps fragments separate from scratchpads and lyrics. The Free plan allows two active projects, 10 AI generations per day and 30 active ideas. Lyriq Pro adds unlimited projects, up to 100 daily generations, Voice Takes with transcription, full version history, unlimited ideas and clean TXT and PDF export. Pro costs £5.99 per month or £49.99 per year. A homepage demo accepts one line or a lyric fragment up to 400 characters, and one line can be tried without an account. Lyriq says it is in early beta, so features and limits may evolve.

Who it suits
