What KingSumo is

KingSumo is a giveaway tool for growing an email list through online giveaways and sweepstakes. Entrants join with an email address and may earn extra entries through bonus actions, including Facebook activity, following social accounts, clicking links, and referring friends. Organizers can share a giveaway or embed it on a website, offer multiple prizes and winners, and use analytics and reporting. KingSumo sends entry confirmations and reminder emails; organizers select winners themselves, and the service does not email winners. Invisible reCAPTCHA checks entries in the background on every plan. The Free plan costs nothing and supports unlimited giveaways, bonus entries, GDPR compliance, embedding, reminders, multiple prizes and winners, and basic integrations. It does not include custom branding, Meta Pixel or conversion tracking, custom rules and terms, or additional entry fields. The Lifetime Plan costs $49, paid once as a single payment and adds those listed features along with removal of sponsored entry. SendFox works on every plan; Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Klaviyo, and Zapier require the Lifetime Plan. KingSumo is available on the web and as an extension. Its WordPress plugin is retired and no longer receives updates; the maker recommends the web app for new giveaways.

Limits

The free plan excludes custom branding, Meta Pixel tracking, conversion tracking, custom rules and terms, additional entry fields, and sponsored-entry removal. Referral campaigns are available only to selected accounts; users can contact support to request access.

Verdict

KingSumo covers giveaway entry collection, bonus actions, embedding, and entrant reminders, but winner selection remains the organizer’s task. Check the plan limits and integration requirements, especially if you rely on the retired WordPress plugin.
