Gurully

Gurully brings scored practice to candidates preparing for PTE, IELTS, CELPIP or the Duolingo English Test. It suits learners who want exam-specific mock tests and performance feedback, as well as IELTS institutes seeking student-management and course-delivery tools. Its strongest appeal is broad test coverage with AI scoring; individual web study, however, calls for a desktop or laptop and a current Google browser.

Overview

Gurully combines full-length and section-wise mock tests with practice materials, AI scoring and performance analysis. It supports PTE Academic and PTE Core, IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training, CELPIP General and CELPIP General LS, and the Duolingo English Test. Speaking practice, writing feedback, score tracking and a study plan give learners several ways to work beyond taking mock exams.

The company began in 2019 with founders Hitesh and Brijesh building a PTE practice platform with AI scoring. Gurully is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Key features

• Mock tests and scoring: Full-length and section-wise tests receive instant AI scoring and performance analysis. Free users get one scored mock test, while Prime members can take unlimited scored mock tests, with access depending on the selected product. The free allowance is a useful benchmark, but candidates who need repeated scored practice will need Prime.
• Practice materials: Gurully's homepage describes more than 30,000 PTE practice questions. Prime members get AI-scored access to those questions, making the membership more compelling for PTE learners who want question practice as well as mocks.
• IELTS institute tools: The institute product brings together mock tests, assisted AI scoring, student management, tutor permissions, performance analytics, an LMS and white-label branding. Institutes can book a demo and trial it with their own students before buying; this is a separate proposition from the individual memberships.
• Privacy and account limits: Gurully says it uses AES-256 encryption, encrypted passwords and files, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways, firewall and intrusion detection, limited employee access and regular vulnerability scans. Payments are handled through Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal or PayTM; Gurully says it does not keep complete card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV or sensitive payment credentials. Its privacy policy also says it collects account details, responses and test attempts, audio recordings, performance data and support communications. Users who have taken a free mock test or bought a package cannot delete their accounts, a consequential trade-off for privacy-conscious learners.

Pricing

Gurully is freemium: users can take one free scored mock test, while paid Prime access provides paid exam-preparation content and unlimited scored mocks, subject to the selected product. The memberships are organized by exam and access period, so candidates should choose the test they are preparing for rather than assume one plan covers every exam.

• PTE Prime, USD: $9 a month (billed 7 days), $12 a month (billed 15 days), $16 a month (billed 30 days), or $26 a month (billed 60 days). These plans fit candidates seeking short-term access to PTE paid content; the 7-day option costs less upfront but gives the briefest preparation window.
• IELTS/CELPIP Prime, USD: $3 a month (billed 7 days), $5 a month (billed 15 days), $8 a month (billed 30 days), or $12 a month (billed 60 days). These shorter memberships suit focused IELTS or CELPIP preparation, but the shortest term also means less time to use the paid materials.
• IELTS Prime, INR: ₹200, paid once (billed 7 days), ₹300, paid once (billed 15 days), or ₹500, paid once (billed 30 days). The 30-day option is marked Popular and gives the longest access period among these choices.
• Duolingo Prime, INR: ₹550, paid once (billed 7 days), for candidates seeking a brief Duolingo membership.

For IELTS institutes, Gurully offers a demo and trial with their own students before purchase; the institute product has custom pricing. The pricing page provides phone support at +91 95120-40070, and users can also contact the team through the website or WhatsApp.

Platforms

The service supports web, iOS and Android, but the individual web platform requires an internet connection and a desktop or laptop using the latest Google web browser. Gurully also lists PTE practice apps for Android and iOS. Learners who rely on a phone for all web-based preparation should check this device requirement before choosing the service.

Who it's for

Gurully is a strong fit for candidates who know which English test they are taking and want AI-scored mocks, targeted practice and progress tracking in one service. Its short Prime terms can suit a concentrated study push, while IELTS institutes may value the separate management, tutor and LMS tools. It is less suitable for learners who need unlimited free scoring, or who cannot meet the desktop-browser requirement for individual web study.

Pros and cons

• Pros: Coverage spans seven named exam formats across PTE, IELTS, CELPIP and Duolingo English Test; full-length and section-wise tests are paired with AI scoring and performance analysis.
• Pros: The one free scored mock gives candidates a starting benchmark, and Prime unlocks unlimited scored mocks for the selected product.
• Pros: IELTS institutes get student management, tutor permissions, analytics, an LMS and white-label branding, with a trial available using their own students.
• Cons: The free scored-mock allowance is only one, limiting its usefulness for ongoing measured practice.
• Cons: Individual web use requires a desktop or laptop and current Google browser, which may rule it out for phone-only learners.
• Cons: Account deletion is unavailable after a free mock attempt or package purchase, despite the stated security measures.

Alternatives

Verdict

Choose Gurully if you want exam-specific scored practice across several English tests, or if you run an IELTS institute that needs student and course-management tools. Its main reason to buy is the combination of mock tests, AI scoring and analytics, backed by short exam-specific Prime terms. Look elsewhere if one free mock is not enough, phone-only web study is essential, or the account-deletion restriction is unacceptable.
