What GG is

GG is a video game collection tracker for discovering games, organizing a personal collection, and following friends’ gaming activity. Profiles can show gaming history, favorite games, ratings, reviews, and curated lists. Players can track progress, rate and review titles, and group games into wishlists and backlogs. Lists can also present a player’s gaming preferences, while collection features include platform tracking and completion history.

GG’s discovery features draw on community feedback, trending releases, and highly rated games. Social features let users follow friends’ gaming activity and recent reviews. An example profile shows titles across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. GG is available on the web, Android, and iOS. Its Android listing reports 100K+ downloads; the iPhone app is labeled free with in-app purchases and is not verified for macOS. Google Play’s developer-provided data safety details say the app may collect personal information and app activity, and may share app information and performance data along with device or other IDs.
