What Fretuno is

Fretuno is an Android app that combines ear training, practical music theory, and fretboard practice for guitar, ukulele, and bass players. Its learning path covers notation, ear training, scales, chords, rhythm, harmony, analysis, and improvisation. An adaptive plan selects practice using goals, prior attempts, accuracy, estimated mastery, and review timing. Lessons include eight kinds of interactive explorers, such as note maps, scales, intervals, chords, harmony paths, and a circle of fifths. The tuner has automatic and manual modes and 18 presets for the three instruments. Progress views show practice activity, accuracy, interval mastery, and a note-by-note fretboard map. Core lessons, training, and on-device pitch analysis can work offline, but purchases, restores, and subscription refreshes require a connection. Short audio frames are analysed in memory on the device, then discarded rather than saved or uploaded. Training history stays on the device and is removed if app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. The free plan includes unlimited five-question sessions and selected lessons and practice tools; Pro adds longer sessions and the complete curriculum.

Purchases, restore, and subscription refresh require an internet connection.
