FluidCast

What FluidCast is

FluidCast is a podcast player for listening and syncing podcasts across web, iOS, macOS, Android, Windows, and Linux. Listeners can search shows and episodes, browse curated categories, adjust playback speed, skip silence, set a sleep timer, and use chapter navigation. Full episode transcripts can be read, searched, and navigated. Voice Lift boosts quieter voices, and the player can play audio stored on a device without streaming. The Free plan includes offline downloads, local file playback, background playback, playback history, transcripts, Voice Lift, CarPlay, and Android Auto. Pro adds cloud sync for subscriptions, playback position, and settings, plus queue editing, bookmarks, podcast folders, and Apple Watch support. Its on-device AI ad skipping may be inaccurate and may use more battery; on iOS it requires Apple Intelligence on iOS 26 or later. Pro Monthly is £2.49 a month with a one-month free trial. The listed Lifetime plan is £89.99 a month and is described as having no subscription. The privacy policy says playback and download data is stored on device, while subscription and playback-progress sync data is stored in Supabase.

Who it suits

Limits

The Free plan does not include the Pro features listed for AI ad skipping, cloud sync, advanced queue editing, bookmarks, podcast folders, and Apple Watch support. On iOS, AI ad skipping requires Apple Intelligence on iOS 26 or later; it may be inaccurate and may use more battery.
