Etisalat Internet Mail
What Etisalat Internet Mail is
Etisalat Internet Mail is a free email service for residential and individual customers, provided through Etisalat webmail. Users can read mail in a browser or connect email clients with POP3 or IMAP for receiving and SMTP for sending. The default mailbox provides 50 MB and warns when 80% of capacity is reached; users can apply for additional storage. Accounts support up to three aliases, with messages to aliases and the original address delivered together. Webmail includes an address book, spell check, folders, forwarding, vacation auto-responses, filters, and file attachments. External Mail can retrieve messages from other POP3 accounts. Etisalat says incoming attachments for webmail and POP3 subscribers are scanned and infected files removed, while optional anti-spam filters and sender controls are available. An SMS composer allows 560 English or 280 Arabic characters before truncation. Messages can have up to 50 total To, Cc, and Bcc recipients. Free accounts are bundled with Dialup and Al Shamil Internet connections.
