What EMI Production Music is

EMI Production Music provides licensed production music for television, film, advertising and online media through Extreme Music. Users can search by genre, mood, BPM and instrumentation, or import an MP3 or YouTube link to find similar tracks. Previews work without an account, and tracks can be tried with a project before licensing. Registration is required for downloads: new accounts receive temporary access, while permanent access usually requires approval within 48 hours. Full download access is limited to media professionals who are contacted for qualification. License prices depend on project and usage; online card payment is available in select countries, or a local office can arrange payment. Licenses include all versions and stems, while alternate-language versions and cutdowns need a representative quote. Files are offered as 48k WAV or 320 kbps MP3. Cue-sheet and EDL tools assist project organization, with local-office and live-chat support.
