Edraak

What Edraak is

Edraak is an Arabic-language platform for massive open online courses, with courses developed by Arab experts and academics alongside some international courses translated into Arabic. It serves Arabic speakers with subjects and learning levels that vary across its course offerings. Learners can access course content, take quizzes, review results and join discussion areas. Where a course offers a certificate, learners who meet its requirements can receive one at no cost; some courses labeled as short courses do not include certificates. Edraak also presents a school education platform alongside its courses and specializations, and says it works in partnership with edX. The service is available on the web and through Android and iOS apps. Its mobile app supports downloading lectures for offline viewing. The Help Center provides searchable guidance and a way to submit questions to the team. Edraak is free to use and has no free trial. It was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Amman, Jordan. Its privacy policy says the site is not directed at children under 18 and requires parental or guardian consent for underage users.
