What DataMail is
DataMail is a free email service with webmail plus iOS and Android apps. It supports native-script addresses in 16 languages across 22 scripts, covering both the username and domain through IDN and EAI. AI Compose drafts letters, replies, and invitations from a short prompt in the user’s language. Storage has no hard ceiling, although users watch short in-app ads for more space. Mobile apps provide push notifications, offline drafts, and biometric or PIN locking. Existing accounts can be opened in a browser, but account creation must happen in the mobile app. DataMail says messages are scanned for spam and viruses, connections are encrypted in transit, passwords are not stored plainly, and staff do not read inboxes. The free plan costs nothing, remains free forever, requires no card, and includes ad-supported storage, apps, webmail, and AI Compose.
Who it suits
DataMail suits individual users, including students, schools, and early-stage startups, who want native-script email without a subscription. Organizations needing their own domain, administration, or a support agreement are directed to XgenPlus.

Verdict
DataMail combines native-script addressing, mobile apps, webmail, and AI Compose in a free consumer service. Ads, mobile-only account creation, and the lack of custom domains limit its fit for organizations and ad-free mailbox needs.
