What Covyo is

Covyo is a web app for creating tailored cover letters and managing steps in a job search. It uses a résumé, LinkedIn profile, and job description to draft an ATS-clean letter in under ten seconds. In Studio, users can choose a writing angle and request up to three free refinements on a draft. The service checks letters for banned characters and phrases, word count, and sign-off name, then runs a second AI review for tone and fit with the job description. Covyo also surfaces Adzuna listings and scores them against a user's roles and dossier, with filters for remote work, sponsorship, internships, and salary. Each generated letter creates a tracked application, with stages from Drafted through Applied, Phone screen, Interview, Offer, or Rejected. The résumé tools can create a résumé from a dossier or improve a parsed résumé, producing a one-page plain-text result with PDF download. For applications at the Interview stage, Covyo generates job-specific questions and offers a mock interview chat; voice input is available on supported browsers. Covyo says user data is not used to train AI models, and its privacy policy describes encryption in transit and at rest and row-level security. The service does not submit applications for users.
