Application-consistent snapshots support application-level backups and restores, with scheduled protection, custom retention, granular restores, cross-cluster recovery, and point-in-time recovery also listed. Persistent volume and cluster resource backup are supported, and Container Storage Interface integration for volume snapshot backup is optional.

Organizations can use existing on-premises or cloud storage, including Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage, or Commvault AirGap for isolated recovery copies.
